xiomara's p.o.v:
today is when we'll be attacking. i'm very nervous right now.
"don't worry xio, we'll be fine," mika tried to comfort me.
"what about you? you have a child coming," i told her. mika nodded.
"i know but it's one of the things that keep me going. i'm doing it for my child so i can have a happy family in the future," mika answered. i nodded. i walked back inside the room after getting some fresh air from the balcony.
"are you girls ready?" esmeralda asked. we all nodded.
"so the plan is that xiomara will apply and they really need an assistant so i think they'll accept you by today. mika will be on the lookout, catlina will be working in the headquarters as well and i'll be communicating with you all by this earpiece," esmeralda handed us an earpiece.
"how the fuck do you put this on?" catlina asked. i smiled.
"like this," esmeralda attached the earpiece on catlina while mika and i attached ours.
"be careful out there. don't trust anyone okay?" esmeralda said. it made me remember ana-lyn, i sighed. i feel really bad for snapping at her.
"alright. let's go?" mika asked. we all nodded.
i took an uber to the russian headquarters, i'm still very nervous. i only took an uber to blend in with my fake lifestyle. my temporary name is jessica red. it's not that bad but it's weird for me.
mika, catlina and esmeralda are able to hear what i hear and see what i see so it's going to be a little bit easier. my workers are also here so i'll have backup. although, i'm still very nervous.
"xio can you hear me?" mika said through the earpiece. i hummed in response. the russian headquarter is actually pretty decent but not compared to the asian headquarters.
"go straight to the front desk and say that you're applying for the secretary spot," esmeralda said. i nodded. i did as told.
"hello, ma'am. what can i help you with?" the lady asked.
"i'm here to apply for the secretary spot," i answered. she nodded.
"use the elevator and go to the 5th floor. there should be a sign there saying private comers. walk towards there and someone will give you instructions," she directed me. i nodded and thanked her.
"you're welcome," i nodded again and walked over to the elevator.
"hey babe," someone said. it sounded familiar but i couldn't put my finger to it. i looked at the person who spoke. i'm suprised and happy. i jumped and slightly hugged him.
"what are you doing here?" i asked.
"couldn't hold myself back from seeing you," he answered.
"i miss you so much," i said honestly.
"i miss you too babe," he replied.
