marissa zenaida pabaira is my aunt on my father's side. she's my #1 enemy.

"what do you want?" i asked furiously.

"nothing, i just want you to know something my dear mara," she answered sweetly. i rolled my eyes.

"where's lynk and zach?" i asked furiously again. lynk is my brother.

"oh honey don't worry about them. i just want you to worry about your new problems," she said laughing evilly. what is she talking about?

"you don't know do you?" she asked faking her curiosity. i shook my head in annoyance. she started laughing again.

"sweetie, criselda isn't your real mother." i looked at her in disbelief and shook my head. she's lying, i know that.

"no, she is my real mom," i said bitterly. she laughed coldy.

"she isn't honey," she said spitting at me. i backed away from her, i don't want to feel her nasty spit.

"when you were sleeping, i pulled a piece of your hair to take a dna test. i also did the same for criselda. here," my aunt threw the papers on the floor. i gave her a deathly look. she looked scared for a bit but quickly hides it.

"what is that?" i looked at the paper she threw on the floor with disgust.

"the dna results," she answered and smiled. "i'll let you see them. i'll be back," she warned me and i nodded. i kept my eyes on the paper. i sighed and picked it up. i heard footsteps so she probably left already.

i scanned the paper on my hand. she wasn't lying. she isn't my real mom. my eyes started tearing but i wiped them away. she lied to me, my father lied to me. they all lied to me. i ran away as fast as i can.

"what's wrong?" catlina shouted at me as i passed by her. tears started to come again but i wiped them away like before.

"xio!" mika yelled at me as i passed by the odyssey. i didn't even bother to look back. i just ran as fast as i can to anywhere. i just want to be alone right now.

i stopped as soon as i was in the middle of the woods. i'm not breathing that heavy but it was a good workout. i heard footsteps. i looked around to see if anything was around me.

fuck this shit, i'm out. i started running again to wherever but i was soon tackled by someone. i looked to see who it is but it wasn't a who. it was an animal. i'm terrified now. i'm speechless.

the wolf groaned. it sounds like a man, the color of the wolf is pure black. i flinched when he howled.

"please don't hurt me," i confessed. i mean who the hell wouldn't be scared of a god damn werewolf, i'm only human.

the wolf got off of me and went behind a tree. i'm really confused right now but i looked away not wanting to do anything bad.

"hey baby," a voice said that sounded so much like zach. i turned around to find zach. i ran to him and hugged him.

"i thought they took you," i said panting. he laughed. i love his laugh.

"you really think that they're able to keep me captive?" i shook my head. "good, i only did that so they won't know that i'm a wolf," he said. i nodded.

"but you didn't come back to me," i said sadly.

"i was finding a way to find you babe, you really think i'd leave my mate?" he said assuredly.

"what do you mean by mate?" i asked.
