Chapter 9, the baby

David's POV

I'm standing next to Liza holding her hand. The doctor just told us she was pregnant. We both look at him shocked. "I'll give you two a minute." The doctors then says. When he's gone I look at Liza.

D: So what do you think?                                                                                                                                                   

L: I don't know, I'm a little shocked. Do you want to keep it?                                                                           

D: Yes ofcourse I want to. We've been dating for more then 2 years now.                                                   

L: But do you think we're ready for a child? I mean, would you leave me if it gets to hard?               

D: Pookie, don't ever say that again. You're the most important thing in my life. I would never leave you alone, and especially not with a kid... But do you think you're ready?                                   

L: Ahw. Yes I think I am. I want to do this with you.                                                                                             

D: So, we're keeping it?                                                                                                                                                   

 L: We're keeping it.

I give her a tight hug. Then the doctor walks back in. "We're keeping it!" I say to him. "Ah, that's nice for you! But there's just one thing miss Koshy. I looked at your dossier and I saw you just battled cancer. I don't know if you're body is ready for this. But we could give it a try." He says. Liza and I both nod. 

*Time laps to home.*

  "I love you so much babe." I say as I sit next to Liza on the couch. "I love you to babe! Are we gonna tell our friends the news?" She says. "Yes ofcourse we are! But more important, are we gonna tell our followers?" "I think we better wait with that, you know. Maybe it goes wrong and then we have to tell everyone that." She answers. "Yea you're right." We dicided to invite our friends over for dinner and then tell them.

*Time laps after the dinner.*

Liza's POV                                                                

We told our friends the news tonight. They were all very excited. I was nervous to tell them cause a felt bad for Zane and Gabbie after what happened to them. But  they were happy for us, Gabbie had to cry. David and I are laying in bed editing video's. "I'm tired, I'm going to sleep. Are you to?" I say to David. "Yes ok go lay down, I'll turn the lights off." When he did he lays down next to me. "Go sleep you. I'm just going to have a little convo with our baby." He says. I smile. He lifts up the blanket and pulls my shirt up. With his mouth very close to my belly he says. "Hey there little one. I'm your dad. And even we don't know if you're a boy or a girl yet, I know we already love you very much. When you are born we're gonna give you a beautiful name. And me and Liza are going to teach you everything you wanna know. I love little babe, goodnight! Ohw and please don't make your mom throw up every morning. Byee." He pulls my shirt back down and I smile at him. "I love you." I say. "I love you to, mother in progress." He kisses me and puts his arms around me until we're both asleep.

*8 weeks later.*

I'm going to the clinic for an echo for the first time today. David's going with me. As we arrive a receptionist tells us to wait in the waitingroom. A little while later a doctor picks us up. I'm laying on a table and the doctor puts the same gel as before on me. He goes around my belly with the ultrasound machine for a few moments. Then he says. "Hmm, that looks not ok."
