Chaper 18, the day.

Liza's POV

Today's the day. In a few hours a nurse will come to our house and give me the medicine that will kill me. I have to say it's the right time to do it. I'm very very weak but I'm not at the point that I'm dying in pain. Well maybe I am, I don't feel it anymore, I take a serious dose of painkillers every day. Sky is really confused, we tried to explain it to her but she doesn't understand. I don't blame her, she's only 2 years old. I made a box with special stuff for her in it. A letter for every birthday untill she's 21 and some other things from me to her. For example the necklace David gave me when we were just dating. For David I let someone make a bracelet from my weddingring and my engagement ring. I'll give it to him when it's time.

David's POV

2 hours left until Liza is dead. I can't imagine when it's really happening. Zane, Gabbie, Heath, Scotty, Kristen, Erin and Carly are coming over in a few minutes. Liza wanted to spend the last hours with them. 

There's a knock on the door. I open and all the people I just mentioned are standing there. I can feel they're all nervous. 

Liza's POV

I'm laying in bed with Sky, David left so I could have some alone time with her.  "Baby I want you to know that mommy left a box for you with some special stuff for you in it, and birthday carts." I say. "Oeh, can I open it?" She replys. "No babe. Not now. Let's say you can open on your 7th birthday. It's that ok?" I say and she nods. Sky stares at me, I can see in her eyes that she's confused. "What's wrong babe?" I ask her. "I'm gonna miss you when you're leaving mama." She says, I can almost not hold my tears back anymore. "When are you coming back?" She says and a tear rolls down my cheeck. "I'm not coming back baby." I say now crying. Sky looks at me and it looks like she finally gets it. She lays her head on my chest and holds me, I put my arms around her. She's now crying to. "But I will always love you okay?" I say. "I love you to." She answers.

After a few minutes of laying like that David walks in. "Are you guys ok?" He asks while he sits down on the side of the bed. Sky and I both nod. "Can the rest come in?" He asks and I answer yes. Everyone comes in. 

David's POV

It was a fun but sad 2 hours. We laughed but also cried. At some time we decided that everyone has to have some time alone with Liza. So in turn everyone had 5 minutes alone with her. After that we just sat in the bedroom and talked and laughed. Then the nurse came in with a cup with juice in it, she put it on the nightstand and left. Everyone except me left to. Sky wanted to stay to but Liza and I decided that it was to heavy for her, so the crew took her with them to the livingroom. Liza handed me a little box. I opened it and it was a bracelet. "It's my weddingring and my angagement ring." Liza says. "It's beautiful." I say as I put on the bracelet. "Thank you so much babe." I say while I give her a hug.

. I layed down next to Liza. "Babe I'm gonna miss you so much." I say almost crying. "I don't know what to do without you."                              "You will get over it." Liza says while grabbing my hand. "I will never get over you. I will forever miss you and remember you." I say now crying. Liza wanted to grab the cup but before she grabbed it I stopped her. "Wait babe." I say and Liza stares me in the eyes. "One last time." I say while I pull her closer. Then I kiss her. Softly but passionate. Our tongues slowly dance with each other. Then I pull away. "Now you can have it." I say. Liza grabs the cup and a glass of wine. She hands the glass to me. "Cheers." We both say as we toast with our glasses. I take a sip and then look at Liza who drinks the juice from the cup. We both put them back on the nightstands.

"Come here babe." I say while I pull her closer. Her head is on my chest and I hold her and stroke her hair. "I love you so much pookie." I say. She looks up at me and I stare in her big brown eyes. "I love you to bubba." She says. Then she rests her head on me and closes her eyes. After a few seconds I feel her body turning hard. I cry and kiss her forehead. "Little brown girl is out, forever." I say.
