Last night I could hear Regina and Roland talking, I am usually a deep sleeper, but the energy between Regina and I is getting worse. Roland slipped onto the bed next to me and whispered

"Daddy, I love you, I hope you're sleeping good." He made me smile, but I couldn't let him see or he'd think it's okay to be up. Soon enough Regina was back in bed and Roland faced her and cuddled with her.

I need to talk to Regina, and get back to the way we were, I want her, I love Regina, she is wonderful with Roland and that's makes me love her more.

I desperately wanted to talk to her now, but she didn't want to. Now I have to wait until tomorrow.
Falling back asleep is hard, I wanted to hold her, but Roland was in the way, she is pushing me away, sometimes I go for a kiss and she walks away, or gets busy with chores or paperwork. Am I bad at timing? I need her warmth and her smile.

It is finally morning, " I want to do something special for Regina, but before I do that, I need to call and get a babysitter for Roland." Roland is now facing me, and his little snores are adorable, I can't help but smile and look over at Regina. Her hair is a mess and it makes her more perfect.

"Daddy?" Roland says tiredly.

"Yes?"

"My tummy is hungry, can we go feed it?"

I lift him up and tell him that he is going with his babysitter for a little while today.

"Really!?" I hush him and point out that Regina is still asleep, "I'm sorry daddy."

"It's okay, son." I kiss him on his forehead and and I pick him to carry down the stairs.

"Watch out for the wall daddy, the wall likes to attack Regina, and it might come after you." I laugh and he smiles.

"What would you like for breakfast?"

"Hmm, I want a egg sandwich and bacon please" He grabs a fork, "Can I help you, Regina let's me help her sometimes."

"You may help me."

He loves cooking with Regina, he helps cook dinner a lot with her. They get along well. He likes her, I'm glad for that, because I don't know what I would do if he didn't.

"How will I talk to Regina? When will Roley's babysitter get here? They said in 15 minutes and it's been 20"
The door bell rings and breaks me from thought.

"Thank you for coming on short notice, this means a lot." I smile while walking out to the car in order to help Roley in.

"No problem Robin, I like watching him, he is really good. What time do you want me to drop him off?"

Thinking for a moment, "Can I call you, and I'll come and pick him up, if you don't mind."

"That's fine, I hope you and Regina can get through this, I'll see you later."

"Bye, bye Roland." I wave my hand and heard Roland say goodbye.

I've made breakfast for my lovely, her favorite, Apple cinnamon pancakes with coffee. "It's quiet, maybe she's still asleep." I think as I walk through the door, "Hallelujah,"

"Rise and shine, dear." I whisper in her ear.
