(Elizabeth's P.O.V.)
I turned to Asia. She was about the same age as me. "So what's this surpise?" I asked.
"Actually, it's for MerLissa."
Lissy turned her head and frowned. It was very early in the morning because we had school and just wanted to check on the humans. She must still have been grumpy.
"Why would there be a surprise for me?" she questioned.
I honestly don't think I would have been able to do this if MerLissa would have never come. Caring for these humans has been so hard. She is the one that steals the food at dinner so the humans had something to eat. I barely do nothing but accompany them and make sure they are okay, but merLissa helps me with that too. She had been a great help.
"Do you know a man named Otto?"
Otto? Who would name their child Otto? It must have been a friend of MerLissa in her former life because she immediately recognized the name.
"He's more like a toddler than a man." she joked. "Why? Do you know him?"
Asia strolled over to a random place in the room. Then she pointed towards the ceiling. "He went up in those tunnels with another boy named Nemo, like the fish!"
MerLissa immediately paid attention. "Aw! My little Nemo!"
I scrunched up my face in disgust. "Ew. Were you dating him before Boris?"
She burst out laughing. "Now why would I do that?! That is disgusting. Nemo's gay darling." I opened and closed my mouth, too stunned to let anything come out of it. She noticed my face and said, "No it's okay. You don't have to apologize."
"So that's why he was looking at me and saying something about falling in love and deliciousness," one of the humans muttered. His name was Christian.
MerLissa almost choked. "Ahaha!" Tears of laughter were shooting out of her eyes like missiles. "That is too darn funny!" She cried out. "I want to see them."
Asia nodded, smiling. "Okay, right this way. My dad took them through this tunnel here."
"Tunnel?" MerLissa suddenly became even more interested. Didn't she just recently have a dream about tunnels?
"Yes," another one of the girls popped into the conversation.
I was starting to become aware of what time it was. "Lissy, I don't think we should. I don't want you missing your first day of school. It's morning remember?"
"Oh yeah..." she said quietly. "Okay well we will come by later then." she laughed and waved good-bye. "Come on Liz." She grabbed my hand and then we were off to school.

"Chicken!" Sam yelled at MerLissa.
We were at art class, the only class where children could be together and not separated by their age or talent. After this was lunch and we would sneak out to get the humans some food and possibly see this Otto and Nemo. MerLissa must have grown up in a weird place because those are not common names to have.
At least she remembers everything. I can't remember anything at all. But maybe that's because my mind wanted me to actually forget. I know the name Julieann keeps popping into my head. Maybe I had a sister?
"Come on Kanna. Let's leave these losers." Sam said. Wow he was that desparate...
I wasn't paying much attenion until Alex, that little bastard, decided it was time to throw paint in my hair.
