My alarm when off and then it cut off before I could reach it. I opened my eyes to see Cameron holding my phone. He put it on the dresser and turn to me.
"You wanna get ready because we have an appointment." He said
"Yeah sure." I said
We got out of the bed and got into the shower that was running. He held my hand as I got into the shower.
"Don't wash your stomach too hard." He said.
"I know how to wash my stomach Cameron." I said
"I don't want you hurting my child." He said
I finished washing and got out the shower . I wrapped the towel around me and went into the bedroom. I got dressed in black jeans, red shirt and red converse.
"Imma take you shopping today." He said
"Why?" I asked
"Damn I can't take my baby shopping?" He said
"I mean it's just out of the blue." I said
"Cause I love you now come on." He said.
I walked out the bedroom and ran into Mikah.
"Where y'all going?" He asked
"To the mall get Jamila and be ready." I said
He nodded and left.
"I know damn well you didn't invite them." He said
"I wanna tell them too." I said
"Why? It ain't their baby." He said
"Stop acting like that." I said
"We ready." I heard Mikah say.
I nod and we all walk downstairs. We leave the house and walked to Cameron truck. He opened the door for me and literally lifts me in there.
"Okay you just being extra now." I said
He shrugged and closed the door. The rest got in and we drove off. The ride was silent and I almost fell asleep.
I quickly got out the truck before Cameron could come over. When he did he gave me a dirty look.
"Hurt yourself and see what happens." He said
I shook my head and we walked into the mall.
"What y'all getting?" Jamila asked.
"Imma buy her some stuff." Cameron said
"Why?" She asked
"Cause she my girl and I wanna spoil her." He said
She glance over and Mikah and Mikah laugh and walk away.
That boy ain't shit. I shook my head and walked into the first store.
2 hours later
When Cameron said he was going to spoil me he meant it. Every little thing I called cute or touched he brought it. We had to make 3 trips to the truck and back.
Now we sitting in a restaurant and I'm about to tell Jamila and Mikah the news.
"So I got something to tell y'all." I said
They both stop eating and look at me.
"She pregnant." Cameron said
I slapped him upside his head and his food fell from his mouth.
"I wanted to tell them." I said
"Well it my baby too." He said
"Imma be a uncle." Mikah said smiling.
