Is it Hi or Hey?

Chapter 2

So after the movies my parents decided that they were going to inform me of their plans for spring break.

"We're leaving you here Hazel." my mother said looking me in the eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"We're leaving you here. You have a job, you have the house. And you're 16 now." My father explained

"Well where are you going?" I asked.

"We're going to the Bahamas." My mom smirked

"So you're leaving forever?" I asked again.

"Yes we are. Until you have grandchildren we won't be back. So enjoy having the house and the car. We left a little money in your bank account. We're leaving now. Bye Hazel." my mom said coldly

"Bye Angela."

"Good bye my lovely beautiful daughter, I'll miss you soo much." my dad whispered as he hugged me. A tear slipped from his eye as he looked at me one last time. Clearly this was my moms idea.

"Goodbye dad I love you."

And then they were gone.

I sat on the floor sobbing after I closed the door and watch my parents leave me here alone.

My phone was buzzing under my hand as I wiped my tears away I answered

"Hello?"

"Hazel are you okaii?" I heard Luke ask.

"I'-m fine," I hiccuped.

"You're not, where are you?"

"At my house,"

"Send me the address I'm coming."

"Don't bring Michael okaii?"

Luke hung up and I sent him the address.

10 minutes later the door opened and I was being lifted off the ground by Michael and Luke. Calum and Ashton made their way to the kitchen.

"What's wrong beautiful?" Michael asked tilting my head to look at him.

"My parents left, and my dad looked so sad when they left. They aren't coming back until I have a family so I guess I'm on my own." I said sniffing and wiping my eyes with my sweater sleeve.

"That's okaii love, you don't need them. You have us and your friends! And you have a job right? You'll be okaii I won't let anything happen to you, I promise." he smiled holding me closer and kissing my forehead. For people I just met they're pretty comfortable.

"Mikey can you make sure they don't burn her kitchen down?" Luke asked.

He nodded and let me sit with Luke.

"Are you gonna be okaii to stay here alone all weekend? Because we can stay the night here with you." he said holding my hand fiddling with my fingers.

"Actually that would be nice, I can invite Taylor and Vanessa." I smiled

I have no idea why I trust these boys soo much there's just something about them that just screams trustworthy. Even though Michael wants me and I have no idea what to do about that.

I called the girls over and they brought junk food to add on to ours. Ashton and Calum were busy making nachos and finding the alcohol.

"Movies?" I asked walking into the kitchen as I was handed a drink.

"Yes! I'm thinking Lilo and stitch!" Ashton said excited.

"Agreed!" Luke and I said together.

The girls came in and Taylor sat down on the couch and turned on the movie. Vanessa sat down with a bag of chips she could finish easy and introduced herself with a mouthful of chips.

We all sat on the couch drinking and watching our movie. Ashton and Taylor were sitting together on the love seat and Vanessa and Calum were on the floor. Luke and Michael were on either side of me on the longer couch. We all had a big blanket across us. All of us were pretty comfortable just watching the movie in each others silence. I'm glad they decided to come over and make something so big seem like it was nothing.

I crawled out from under the blanket and onto the floor. I bent over to pick up my phone and both Luke and Michael grabbed my butt laughing as I jumped away from them and tripping over the table leg and falling onto the floor.

I laid there for a while just gasping for air as I laughed. Vanessa just stared at me. Michael and Calum got me off the floor and Michael pulled me upstairs to my room.

"Michael what are you doing?" I slurred giggling. I was a bit tipsy but not enough to not understand what I was doing.

"I want you to get some rest, you've had a long day and I'm worried about you." he said guiding me to the bed and pulling the blanket to cover me.

"Michael come cuddle with me," I mumbled lifting the blanket for him.

He crawled into bed with me and wrapped his arms around my body pulling me to him. I laid my head on his chest and held onto his tshirt tightly.

"You okaii Haze?" Michael whispered running his fingers through my hair.

"Hmm? yeea I'm fine." I said drawing patterns on his chest as I started drifting into sleep.

"Good night beautiful," I heard Michael say before I passed out.
