Chapter 13

*Hazel's P.O.V.*

We're in the hospital. My mom is laying in bed asleep. The doctors told us this afternoon that she isn't going to make it till morning. They did the testing and my mother is going to die tonight. All of the guys were here with me, Vanessa dropped in this morning but made her way to the Starbucks downstairs and went to work. Tasha dropped off some things for me and headed to work. I was off work all this week. Ashton got a job down at a comic book shop. Michael and Calum are moving in with Ashton and I at the end of the month and Luke is gonna move in tomorrow. We decided it's better for all of us if we just live in one house.

Not to mention how much money we're gonna save. It'll be so much better. And that way we will have money for buying some new things for the house. My room is okay, but now that my parents are gone I want to change everything around. Meaning the house is getting painted and all of our decor is changing. My mother wasn't a house wife, and she wasn't the greatest designer either.

*Michael's P.O.V.*

Sitting in the hospital with Hazel and Ashton wasn't the highlight of my life, but it wasn't the worst that could happen. Hazel's mom was a huge time bitch even in her sleep. She badmouthed her the whole time we were there. She claims that Hazel was an accident and that she hated her. The funny thing about this whole situation was that her dad was no where to be found. Or any other family for that matter. It was just us watching over her mom for hours. I didn't like it but I wasn't complaining that I got to spend all my hours with Hazel now. We were attached at the hip, never leaving each other's sides unless bathroom breaks were needed. Hazel was pulling herself together pretty well with this situation that was dropped into her hands. She lost the last part of her family when they left her in that house that we call ours. Now that her mom is dying Hazel knows how to handle with these things. Her and her mother watched nothing but supernatural and ate whatever they could get their hands on. Seems odd that they get along when they don't talk.

Anyway, my point is that all of us pulling together for Haze is doing the group some good. All of her friends have showed up sooner or later to visit. They all wished her mom good luck on her stay in the hospital and were very polite. All of the boys had someone else they could go to if any of us was busy and that was one of the best things I could ask for in life. I have a beautiful girlfriend. Luke met some of Hazel's old friends that she doesn't really talk to. Calum and Vanessa are getting pretty close. Taylor doesn't come around much anymore but ashton has us. He doesn't really need Taylor. Maybe soon Ashton will find a lady friend.
