Hey there! So this is sort of a filler chapter, not much is going on here. I hope you enjoy though!

Making my way downstairs, I finally had time to poke around the house. It was modeled after a cottage setting, even though it was huge, but still had modern pieces. It was pulled together very tastefully. Down the staircase were works of art, and being the art freak I am, I stopped to see if I could identify any of the pieces. One stuck out to me, it was a beautiful oil painting of a surreal waterfall surrounded by rocks that when one was done swimming under the falls, could perch on to dry. The woods surrounding the edge of it gave the painting a serene feel, and I had a sudden urge to find a place this peaceful.
"That's Slip Falls." I jumped as Jon's voice sent shivers down my spine as he breathed into my ear. "It's a little waterfall about five minutes north of here."
"So who painted this? If the landscape is local, then one of you guys has real talent." He was quite for a moment before he answered, and I could hear his smile.
"Thank you."
Startled, I turned around to face him. I was right, he had a genuine smile stretched across his face and it lit up his face. It turned the badass Alpha man into Jonathan. It also made me realize that the person standing in front of me was much more talented than I originally gave him credit for. He was quite literally the perfect guy.
"You painted this?"
"Yeah, it just sort of happened." His face grew panicked, "Don't tell the guys, they would hold it over me that I paint. It was just a onetime thing, so no need to tell anyone." Something came over me, and I was angry that he thought to hide such a wonderful gift.
I hadn't realized that I was biting my lip till smooth hands cupped my chin and smoothed my mouth. Jonathan was staring intently into my eyes, trying to pry the reason for the unconscious habit from my mind. I didn't realize I was kissing him till our lips were connected, and his cool minty breath washed over me, muddling my thoughts and making it hard to breathe. Pulling away, I stood on my tiptoes to turn my head to nibble his ear. His sharp intake of air made my lips curve into a smirk.
Oh yeah, I could defiantly get used to this feminine power. For whatever reason, being around Jonathan made me fearless, not shy or timid. Getting back to the task on hand I blew in his ear lightly, not really knowing what I was doing but I knew I had got it right when his body shivered.
"I think painting is sexy." I whispered lightly in his ear, then stepping out of his embrace I pranced the rest of the way downstairs and sat on the bar across the stove where my omelet was placed. Taking a small bite, I had to admit I was a picky eater, but nonetheless my mouth watered.
This had to be the best breakfast I've had in ages. That's not saying much because my mom and I usually just munch on granola bars for breakfast and eat out lunch and dinner. Safe to say my dad was the cook of the family, and I did not inherit that gene. If my mom or I so much as tried to work a microwave, the house would go down in flames.
Arms wound themselves around me and I was pulled tight against the back of the chair. My head feel back onto the warm chest of Jonathan, and I peaked up under my lashes to see if he was mad about my stunt. His eyes were shining, blue as the sky, with warmth that filled me up like the omelet I was munching on. They told me he wouldn't forget my little stunt in the hall. Soon. I gulped. This was happening all so fast..
What is wrong with me? How could I be falling so fast for this amazing guy? And why was he so interested in me? If he dropped me for someone better would I be okay after that? Did I- Could I possibly love this man? Oh god I think I'm hyperventilating.Concern filled Jon's eyes as he lifted me from the chair and replaced it with himself with me on his lap. He rubbed soothing circles into my back and I couldn't help but lean into his touch.
"Kitten, what's wrong?" I shook my head, burying it into his chest. A vibration shook me, from his chest, and I realized he was growling. I really was going to have to get used to the whole animialstic side of him, if we were ever going to have a future. Whoa there girl, slow it down.
No, this is our destined one. He is ours, as I am his. He will be the only one.
Now I was going crazy, with a voice in my head. Was it true? Could I really have a wolf in my head, talking to me, telling me to stay in the arms of a man I barely know? If that wasn't a good enough explanation I didn't want to think of the alternative where I was just going crazy.
"Please, love, trust me. Tell me what's bothering you." I pulled back and stared him down. Did he mean what he said last night, right before he kissed- I cut the thought off, knowing I'd blush and give away my train of thought. I took in a steady breath and decided to jump, trusting my instinct that the man holding me, soothing my fears even though he didn't even know my darkest desires, would catch me.
"I will tell you everything, I promise. But this needs to be a two sided conversation. You need to tell me all the things we haven't had time for so far. Also tell me why I'm not freaking out about this more." Jon's answer was a grin, picking me up and bringing me to a soft looking couch before setting us both down with me still on his lap.
"I'll answer any question you have. Shoot."
"Why am I so okay with the idea of werewolves?" Absentmindedly, I traced light patterns into his chest, my head in the crook of his neck. In turn, he drew lazy circles on my back.
"In my opinion, I think that it's due to your inner wolf." I nearly fell off his lap, I was so shocked.
"What?!"
"Have you had a voice in your head, or enhanced senses, even the pull you have towards me are due to the fact that you have a wolf in you. You're one of us, a werewolf." I pulled my head back to look at him.
Was he serious?
