Chapter Twelve~

Aiden's POV~~

"Yes Andy, you take a left on Jay Avenue." I speak to my cousin on the phone. I hear her mutter something under breath. Mocking me I think.

"Is it the big brick building?" She asks. I roll my eyes.

"This is California Andy do you know how many big brick buildings there are?" I ask sarcastically. She can be so stupid at times, but it is funny.

"Oh hush it Aiden." She snaps and I can just imagine her rolling her eyes.

"Oh I see it, I'm going to park and meet you inside." She tells me. I hear her signal so she must be turning into the parking garage. She ends the call and I sit my phone down. I sigh and lean back in my chair. My thoughts wander to last night. I hope Alison isn't mad at me for using her old nickname. I really didn't mean to say it, it just slipped out.

"Mr. Parker, there is a young lady in the office here to see you. Said she's your cousin." I hear Nikki, Alison's assistant. Speak to me. I nod.

"Send her up." I tell her. Nikki's nods before turning back to her desk. She speaks into the phone, talking to the secretary down stairs. Nikki sits the phone down and I wait patiently for my cousin.

After a few minutes of silence I hear the ding of the elevator in the hall. I push my chair back and stand up. Eager to see my cousin. The last time I saw her was in London after high school. Many years ago.

I walk through my office and push my door fully open. I step out into the main office and I watch as Alison walks out of her office at the same time.

"Nikki did you say woman named Andy was here?" Alison asks her assistant. Not noticing me. Nikki nods.

"Do you happen to know her last name?" Alison asks Nikki curiously. Nikki shakes her head.

"Nope I only know that she is here for Aiden." Nikki tells her. Alison nods.

"Oh." Alison glances around and her eyes fall onto me.

"Alison?" I hear Andy's voice. I furrow my brows. She knows Alison? Alison snaps her head towards Andy's voice, as do I.

"Andy?" Alison asks confused. Andy nods as she quickly walks towards Alison. What? I walk to the both of them but stop when they hug each other.

"It's been a long time. Why the hell didn't you call!" Alison almost yells at my cousin. They knew each other?

Alison's POV~~

My ears perk up when I hear Andy's name. It is probably someone else, but I just have to see. I push myself away from my desk and exit my office.

"Nikki did you say woman named Andy was here?" I ask her curiously.

"Do you happen to know her last name?" There is a small small chance that It could be my old friend Andy.

"Nope I only know that she is here for Aiden." Nikki tells me.

"Oh." I glance around to see if this Andy woman is up here yet. My eyes fall onto Aiden. He is looking at me as well. I am about to speak but someone calls me name.
