Not So Alone . . . (Loki Love Story/ Avengers)

Rude awakening. . .

         I guess late into the morning I finally fell asleep because I was awoken with cold water hitting my face. I sat up so quickly that Tony stumbled back and fell on his ass. I growled and shook off the water and used the blankets to dry off.

"Morning Kid, thought you would never wake up." He said trying to shake off the shock I gave him.

"That was very rude Stark. Now get out." I said in my angry stupor.

"No problem kid, just come down to breakfast everyone's waiting." He said going to the door.

"Why?" I asked looking at him confused.

"Because you are apart of a team now and you need to start acting like you actually belong." He said just about out the room and the door almost shut.

"I didn't ask for this." I stated more to myself but he heard me.

"No one does, kid." He said sincerely and left leaving me to change.

~LIVING ROOM!~

"Is she coming to breakfast?" Clint asked ready to get this day started there was a lot to be done.

"I think so, seeing that she just can't mope in her room. Drinks anyone?" Tony said going to his bar and mixing a drink for himself.

Everyone rolled their eyes and shook their heads seeing Tony already start drinking early in the morning.

"Only you Stark." Captain said.

"Why are you so quiet Thor, we all know why Reindeer games is." Tony probed.

"He will come after her, she is not safe. It was a mistake coming back here she would have never remembered if we hadn't." Thor said gravely.

"And you think keeping me in the dark would be better than letting me know the truth? YOU CALL YOURSELF A BROTHER!  A brother wouldn't leave when he has found long lost family. Why does everyone love shutting me out? AM I REALLY THAT MUCH OF A MONSTER?" Nicole snapped at Thor entering the room when no one was paying attention but Loki. 

"Lady Fl-Nicole please you don't understand." Thor started and soon corrected himself everyone in the room sitting quietly to keep out of the small blondes Fury.

"Please Thor MAKE Me Understand." She growled a ball of fire in each of her small hands.

~NICOLE'S P.O.V.~

           I was pissed Thor wanted nothing to do with me because of a risk of someone finding me. What the Hell was the big deal? I took a step forward blinded by my anger and my flames taking over. That is when Loki stepped in the way and blocked his brother from being hurt. I was slightly confused because I thought the God of Mischief hated his so called 'brother' so what the hell was this?

"You can be angry but don't be angry with him, I was the one that brought it to his attention after what you had said last night." I stared at him and set my jaw in place and walked away to the kitchen that was only a few feet away.

         I braced myself on the counter and forced myself to breathe and fought back the emotions that tried to take over until I was completely numb. I closed my eyes and sighed in frustration. I could feel all eyes were on me waiting for what I was going to do or say but I never muttered a word. Instead I sat at the bar and took the drink that Tony offered me.

"Aren't you a little young to be drinking?" Captain asked and I took another sip of my whiskey.

"Aren't you a little old to be alive, Cap?" I asked bluntly.

"All right kid that was a little harsh and that is coming from yours truly." Tony said and took my drink and I glared at him.

"I want answers and no one in the GOD DAMNED ROOM seems to have the BALLS to do that!  So me being harsh is the least of your problems. HYDRA could be on your door step, someone could have kidnapped Pepper, or better yet your father could have disowned you like mine did." I said angrily and then I looked at him confused. 

I turned to Loki and Thor tears came streaming down my face.  HE DID WHAT?

"My Master has come for her, My king he knows she is here." The cloaked figure said with evil intentions in his eerie smile.

"Tell your Master that he has his information clearly wrong, and the next time you come here uninvited I will have your head." Odin threatened the dark thing that never belonged in the Golden City.

"But she comes this way clearly angry." The moment those words left his lips the young angry blonde was marching towards the figure that saw her intentions too late.

"NICOLE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO STAY AWAY! THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU!" Odin boomed.

"It has everything to do with me." She hissed and grabbed hold of the dark figures neck applying pressure and turning completely blue bringing her cold grip with it. 

"I have a Message for Thanos, he will pay for killing my family, my home, and my soul. I will have his heart on a silver platter. Tell him if he wants me, he needs to come and get me." I snarled in his face and threw him to the floor.

I watched as he scurried out of the Throne room and turned to Father who was completely infuriated from the looks of it.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE YOU STUPID CHILD?" Father yelled at me and I expected that but what he said after that scared me.

"I hereby sentence you to be banished to a far away land. You are to stay until you have learned not to but into things that do not involve you directly.  Your Are NOT my child anymore." He said and sat back on his Throne.

I fell to my knees shocked, silently crying Mother running up to me and holding me close telling me it will be alright.
