Chapter 25

'Cause I think you're a saint and I think you're an angel

"It's back on the ship! Rose, take Mickey and Arthur. Get after it. Follow it. Don't approach it. Just watch what it does." The Doctor said.

"Arthur?" Rose asked.

"Good name for a horse." The Doctor told her.

"No. You are not keeping the horse." She replied, mildly annoyed.

"I let you keep Mickey. Now go, go go!" The Doctor shouted, making Jeongguk laugh.

He had been binge watching Doctor Who these days in secret, as a way of surprising Taehyung once the older would nerd out about the show.

It was an odd show, Jeongguk has to say that, but it was weirdly entertaining and he actually really enjoyed it. He finished the first season and already started the second the night before, now he was on episode four and maybe it was because he was so into the show that he jumped away from the couch once his doorbell rang.

He quickly paused his episode and closed his laptop.

Once he opened the door he smiled after he saw it was Taehyung. He thought the older was too busy with his project today to see him, but apparently he was wrong.

"Hey." Taehyung said beaming shyly.

Jeongguk always found cute how Taehyung seemed to still be unsure of how to act next to him, but sometimes it was slightly frustrating because Jeongguk wished they could just act like a couple already and be done with this quite odd situation they were in.

The younger pulled Taehyung inside and closed the door. "I thought I wasn't going to see you today."

"Are you disappointed I showed up without telling you?" Taehyung asked.

"Of course I am not, Tae!" Jeongguk rolled his eyes. "I just thought you were far too busy with your project today."

"I was but I managed to finish it already so I went to look for you at the café but you weren't there..." Taehyung explained.

"Seokjin-hyung has some stuff to do so he closed the place." Jeongguk explained.

Taehyung nervously scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah I know, I saw Seokjin there..."

"Why do you seem so nervous Tae? Is something wrong?" Jeongguk asked, worried.

"No, no..." The older shook his head. "It's just that your boss said something to me and I..."

"What did he said to you?" Jeongguk knew that Seokjin was a bit annoyed at him and Taehyung this week because the latter had been distracting Jeongguk from work but his boss was too much of a nice person to be rude or mean to Taehyung because of that right?

Taehyung opened his mouth and closed again, he started to walk in circles in front of Jeongguk and that was starting to make the younger worried.

"Was he mean to you? Did he say something offensive? What happened?" The younger asked.

The older quickly shook his head again. "It was nothing like that."

Jeongguk was about to ask what happened once more but Taehyung talked before he could.

"He told me it wasn't just because I am your... your boyfriend that I am allowed at his office. Kook do you think we are boyfriends?" The older spat out in light speed, stopping his circle walk and facing the younger with wide eyes.

Jeongguk would be lying if he said that he didn't want to laugh after that, but it was obvious that was something that was bothering Taehyung, so he wouldn't dare to laugh.
