-My strange imagination combined with major tiredness...-

Mle Mle's POV:

"Em?"

Mle Mle looked up at her husband's head poking through the door to her bedroom. "Yes?"

"Oh, sorry, I was just wondering if you're getting up today?"

"Sorry Jim I don't think I can..."

"Oh, okay then..."

He looked disappointed; Mle Mle hated seeing him like this. "Is Liam up yet?"

"No, I was about to wake him."

"Tell him to come see me before he leaves." At this Jim's face lifted a little.

"I won't forget."

"Love you"

"Love you more," he replied as he left the room.

Mle Mle sunk back into her depression.

Jim's POV:

Jim's heart was heavy as he walked down the corridor to his son's room, "Liam?"

"Hi Dad, is Mum up?"

"No, she's staying in bed today"

"Oh"

"She said she wants you to say hello before I take you to preschool though"

"Dad?"

"Yes?"

"What's wrong with Mum?"

Jim paused, "She's just sad"

"Oh," there was a pause, "Dad?"

"Yes"

"Is it my fault?'

The question took Jim by surprise, "no of course it isn't, your Mum is just sad about something that happened a long time ago."

"What happened?"

"You need to get ready for preschool"

"But what happened to Mum?"

"I'll tell you later, I promise."

"Okay."

"Now put on your clothes and come downstairs for breakfast."
