"So, (y/n), you said you're a criminal. How come?" Ace asked you after a while. You were digging in a chest full of maps, looking for one to lead him back to the well-known Grand Line - assuming he came from there. You didn't need a map since you knew your exact way in these icy seas, but always kept a lot of them in case someone suddenly turned up. You looked briefly in his direction before searching further. "I've got knowledge the World Government finds dangerous. I already know everything, I have already seen everything and I have already been everywhere. I could make their organisation disband simply by the secrets I know about it. Therefore I've been given the bounty of 90 000 000 Beli, nicknamed the "True Genius"." You explained and took out a few maps and a certain weird object out of the chest. Ace hummed in response before whistling. "Oooh, I know you! Pops mentioned you not so long ago! Said he had some interest in your wisedom!" He said, clapping a folded fist and hand together as he remembered.

How strange.

Most likely, Pops was Whitebeard, but it was rather surprising that legendary pirate had interest in you. Or just knew of your existence. "Well, then I'm honored to have been mentioned by a man with such power." You replied and walked over to a round table with four chairs. You placed the maps on the table, spreading them out a little, and sat down on one of the chairs with the object still in your hands. Ace took the silent hint and sat over you, full attention.

"Right, listen up: firstly, you need this map to leave these particular sea. The dots on it are icebergs, each in a peculiar shape and are easy to recognize. The shape is explained on the back of the map. Secondly, you need this map to navigate through dangerous Marine bases. Since your Log Pose won't function due to the magnetic field, I'll give you this: a sundial. It has nothing to do with navigating, but is has to do something with the routines of the Marines. They sail out each day around the same hours. When they're sailing, you need to hide. When they're back, you can figure out your way without any disturbances. And lastly, this map is one of the Grand Line, to find your crew. Now, was that clear?" You explained his potential journey and looked up at him,

Before almost falling off your chair.

He was sleeping.

Ace was snoring loudly and without shame, head hanging backwards and his legs wide open and arms hanging over the chair.

He didn't hear a thing, now did he?

"He's narcoleptic, isn't he..." you sighed, standing up and walking over to him. "Portgas-san, wake up." You said while shaking him by the shoulders. "Portgas-san." You said louder. Suddenly, he woke up, sat straight up again and looked confused in your eyes. Oh. "Sorry, that tends to happen often... you were talking about these icy seas?" He apologised.

He didn't hear one bit, did he now.

Mmh? That was weird. You felt a slight... sting. It wasn't a physical one, but a... mental one? Even more, you felt different than usual. Could it be...?

Were you what people called

Annoyed?
