"How about I'll write it all down?" You suggested, taking pen and paper. Ace thought for a moment, and narrowed his eyes at you. "Say, you told me you already know everything about this world, right?" He asked. You were about to write down the instructions and looked up at the handsome man. "Yes, I did. What about it?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.
"How about we travel together! I finish my business, and you might experience stuff you haven't seen before~!" He grinned.
Come again? Travel with him? Someone you had never met before?
"Not only is it unappropiate to suggest that, but do you honestly think I haven't seen everything already?" You ask, feeling that foreign emotion called 'annoyance' again. Ace nodded and leaned closer to you, a smirk replacing his already characteristic grin.
"Lady, if you think you know me, you've got a lot coming." He smirked, tapping his hat. W-
What did he mean with that? Of course you did know who he was. So, you leaned back and placed your pen down. "You're mistaken. I know who you are. You're Portgas D. Ace, 2nd Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. 'Fire Fist Ace' with a bounty of 550 000 000 Beli. Got a little brother called Monkey D. Luffy. Is the son of the previous Pirate King Golden D. Roger and Portgas D. Rouge- " you kept stating facts about him, and with each fact, weirdly, his smirk grew wider. He stood up suddenly, pulled you back forward by your shirt and leaned forward so your noses were almost brushing.
"I didn't mean facts, (y/n). I mean really know me. Habits, likes, dislikes, preferences... who the person behind the name and the reputation is." He said softly. Your (e/c) orbs widening, your (h/c) hair framing your now unusual surprised expression. Something Ace noticed. "Well looky here, seems like you can express emotion~" he grinned and teasingly flicked your nose. You scrunched, and released yourself from his grasp.
What was that about? Why did he do that? Your stoic expression loosening a bit, you took a few steps back. Foreign. You felt very foreign. You usually don't even express happiness. How did he... surprise you?
