"Well?" He asked you again, losing his patience. You were still unsure, but what was the worst that could happen? "I agree. I suppose it could bring me useful information for my research." You said and he grinned. "Alright! Let's have some fun!" He cheered, grabbing your hand and dragging you out to the hallways. "Where's the kitchen? We gotta celebrate a new friendship!" He asked, looking left and right. You almost fell a few times, but managed to kept your normal expression. "End of the hallway, go left, third door on your right." You replied, thinking about his words.

A friendship. Now that's something interesting. You have read stories about it, but never experienced it yourself. This could be a very useful experience for your research.

"Let's goooo~!" He laughed, pulling you along. He barged into the kitchen, letting go of you to scavange the drawers and kitchen cabinets. Lastly, he took out sake from your alcohol intoxication research and two mugs. He filled both of them, giving you one before clashing his into yours.

"KANPAI!" He yelled, chugging the entire mug down. W-what was he doing? You observed the handsome pirate with absolute attention. After refilling his mug a fourth time, he noticed your staring. "What's up? Am I that attractive for you to stare at me?" He teased, wiggling his eyebrows. "What are you doing? What is 'Kanpai'?" You asked. Ace blinked, opened his mouth to say something, closed it again and pointed at you. "You don't know what that is?" He asked, completely surprised. You nodded. "I don't. Please explain." You asked. Ace thought for a moment. "It's, uh, something you say before drinking? Ya know, celebrating?" He said, scratching his head. You hummed and took out your notebook and pen, scribbling his explanation down. "Y-you're not writing that down, are you..." he asked, raising one eyebrow. "How else am I supposed to know? It is essential for my research." You replied, finishing the last word. Ace groaned and smacked the book out of your hands.

"What did you just do?" You asked, staring at the book on the floor. He leant in, grabbing your face. He reeked of alcohol, and most certainly drunk.

"One condition... don't write that shit down! How can you experience it when ya don't even look up or do it! There's no use to learning if ya haven't experienced it first! Geez, you're a shut-in, ain'tcha..." he slurred, narrowing his eyes at you. "It's true I don't know how to... deal with other intelligent creatures, yet I hope to learn more social contact with you." You said, trying to break out of his grasp. He chuckled.

"Don't worry, I'll teach ya."
