RILEY'S POV
I stood outside my Art class staring at the late slip in my hand. Half an hour late for a lesson isn't a good way to start the first day. I gather up my courage and push open the door just to stop when eyes turned to me. I walk tentively to the teachers desk and feel burning eyes on me all the way there but I don't turn around to see who it is because my wolf knows perfectly well. "Miss Conners? Your late" Mrs Clupe says to me and I snap my attention to her and say "Yes, miss, here is my slip." I hand her the late slip and she reads it, then tells me to sit down... Next to Reece!...
REECE'S POV
I watched as she walked through the door of Art half an hour late and my wolf yipped for joy. I forgot all about the work next to me and continued to stare at my new Mate. She tensed and I smiled knowing she could feel my stare. I searched her face - well what I could see of it - and realised she had been crying, my wolf jumped inside me, hoping to go to it's Mate and comfort but I didn't move. I watched as she passed a slip to Mrs Clupe and understanding came over her face. She looked at me then said something to Riley. She turned and walked towards me... and sat down without even a glance my way. Damn this is going to be harder then I thought...
