RILEY'S POV
I ignored Reece for the rest of Art still feeling heated glances from him. Finally the bell rang signalling the end of that lesson and the start of the next which for me was Science so I got up ready when I felt a hand on my arm. I looked round to see Reece. "Let go, Reece!" I said to him, "No! Not until you talk to me!" He shouted back. "What do you want me to say?" I retorted, "for you to tell me why I can't be your mate!" Reece said almost pleadingly. I stayed silent... "Please" He whispered and that one word made me break into tears... "BECAUSE MY DAD DIED FIGHTING FOR HIS MATE! AND I CAN'T STAND TO LOSE YOU! SO I'M JUST SAVING YOU AND MYSELF THE TROUBLE!" I shouted the tears running down my face. Suddenly I felt warm hands on my wet cheeks and I looked up to see Reece through blurry eyes and then he lowered his head and kissed me and I kissed him back then pushed him away and ran out of the classroom...
REECE'S POV
I kissed her, she kissed me - then pushed me away - but still, she kissed me! Man, that kiss... Then I remembered what she said: "I can't stand to lose you!" And my wolf smiled. I'm going to get my Mate...
