RILEY'S POV
I walked into Mrs Evason's office (Headteacher) and kept my eyes on the floor. I had a guess what this was about... 'my attitude to learning.' I took a seat opposite her. "Miss Conners, do you know why your here?" Mrs Evason started, I stayed quiet then deciding on the dumb approach said "nah, miss, no idea." Mrs Evason then carried on to talk about behaviour and listening to the teacher when I had the feeling she had asked a question, I just look at her. She sighed then said the words I had been dreading: "Miss Conners I am excluding you for the rest of today because of misbehaviour and another 2 weeks detention for your little stunt in the canteen" she paused "you are dismissed." I walked out thinking two things:
One: I just got suspended (even for a day) on the first day of school
and
Two: MY MUM IS GONNA KILL ME!
REECE'S POV
After a little while, Riley finally came back to the canteen and went to her table...only to pick up her bag say her goodbyes and leave...without so much of a glance at me...
