Chapter 7

Riley's POV

For the rest of the day I couldn't stop thinking about mine and Reece's kiss. Irish and Indie tried to get me to talk but I just stayed silent, stuck in my thoughts. Finally they get that I don't want to talk and gave up. We walked into the cantene and sat at our usual table at the back. Me, Irish and Indie were soon joined by our friends, Han, Chloe and Chonnie along with my brother and about five of his friends including Matt and Craig. I looked around the table and smelt (I know it's weird) and realised for the first time that our friend group was a mix of werewolf and human.

Me, Jason, Irish, Indie and Han are wolves and Chloe, Chonnie, Matt, Craig and all the rest are humans. Suddenly the scent of werewolves got stronger and I looked up to see Reece, his Beta Harry and his third Josh walking towards our table. They sat down. I looked at Irish and Indie to see them staring at Harry and Zayn, uh oh... Zayn stood up and looked at Indie then she stood up and they walk out, standing close. All the humans on the table looked on in confusion but the wolves just nodded in understanding- Mates- we continue on with our food. During lunch I see Irish and Harry glancing at each other and I start to feel so jealous that their mating is easy that I snap! I pick up my plate and others also and launch them across the cantene, everyone looks at me suprised and when I say everybody thats what I mean, the whole room was staring at me and I see one girl run off and come back with the headmaster, and I turn bright red at my sudden outburst. I glance at Reece and see he is looking at me with concern and love...wait!? Love? Shit! "MISS CONNERS! GET HERE NOW!" Mrs Evason our grumpy headteacher shouts, I look at her then storm to her office...I'm guessing I'm in trouble... No duh! My wolf moans at me...

REECE'S POV

Sitting in the canteen with Riley's friends was actually fun, I got to learn more about the wolves in my Pack and also the humans we hang out with. I was listening to Harry go on about his Mate, who I'm guessing is Irish, Riley's friend but he doesn't tell me the name, when Riley suddenly threw her meal across the room and started trembling. My wolf starts to shout inside me Mate! Go to Mate! When the head came in and ordered her out, her eyes connecting with mine for a breif second then she stormed out leaving my wolf howling in anguish...

I stood up...and went to sit with my other friends suddenly feeling unwanted...
