Me and The Boy!

Chapter 9

RILEY'S POV

I walked to cafe near the school and sat there thinking. The school wasn't let out till quarter to three so I have at least an hour without disturbance.

The hour passed slowly and I thought about what I had said about my dad to Reece. I don't normally talk about my dad but as I sat there thinking my thoughts turned to the night he was killed:

*FLASHBACK*

"Daddy!" 7 year old Riley screamed when she saw her dad coming home from work. "RiRi! Heya my baby girl!" he shouted back enveloping her in a huge, warm hug when Jason's shriek had them running to the garden where they saw mummy and Jason surrounded by unfamilier wolves.

Riley knew they were more than just wolves but she stood still frozen with fear. One of the wolves shifted and glared at Riley and her family. "You are the Beta of the MoonWolves pack, is that correct?" He asked her dad roughly, "That is correct" Riley's dad replied calmly. The other wolves then shifted and to Riley they were all bad men. "Grab the Mate and kids!" The first ordered of the others. The rest was blurry for Riley, all she remembered being grabbed and her daddy shouting then a loud thump and mummy screaming. All went black.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I sat there numbly until a hand touched my shoulder and a voice told me to leave because they were closing. I walked out and realised it was dark. I sat on the curb and finally let the tears fall.

I had the feeling I had been sat down for a while and I was shaking and my fingers were turning blue, suddenly I felt something warm on my shoulders and looked to see Reece placing his jacket across my shivering body and then him sitting next to me with his arms around me. I hid my face in his chest and carried on crying...

REECE'S POV

I held her close as she was crying just glad that I had finally found her. Me, Jason, Irish and Indie have been going mental for the last six hours. We had tried calling her but ended up looking for her when she didn't answer. I had overheard Jason talking about her favourite cafe, so I came here and found out the cafe was closed but I saw her sitting on the curb outside. I squeezed her tighter maing sure she was still there when I felt cold hands on my face and I looked down to see her gazing at me. My head lowered and hers lifted and then we were kissing...
