Author: JosephMQuinn

Genre: Fantasy

Summary: (The Scion and the Guardians: Book One)

In a time forgotten, when the horrors of what lies beyond human cognizance were in oblivion, an unsettling event cast the mortals in a state of trepidation. Winds are growing stronger from the ocean, and the dormant volcanoes of the world are starting to accumulate its power from the underworld once more. Fear is beginning to find its way back in people's minds and everyone is nescient of what is lurking behind the shadows. At the center of the tension lie two powerful families: the Blaises of Maven, who rules all of the Lagoni Empire, and the Darenbys of Cragblood who rules Civen, the largest kingdom in Lagon. Together, they are powerful and unyielding as the land from where they were raised. Gliding through the cold snow of the north to the hot and stormy islands of the south, behold the story of the kings, lords and ladies, knights and seers, invaders and the yielded, who unite in a time of darkness and terror. At this point in time, explorers plant the seeds of their belief for position and power; warriors raise their swords and hearts to protect the realm; a child attempts to discover the truths from his cloaked past; and a woman assumes the greatest of responsibilities and a perilous journey. Everyone strives to be on his climb for status and authority, amidst allegiances and betrayals, victory and defeat, conspiracy and schemes, the usual and the otherworldly. The fate of these families, their allies, and their enemies dangles helplessly on the balance, as each aspires to dominate that baffling battle of conviction and belief: A War of Faiths.

What we thought of your book: So, in the beginning I notice that it started off shaky. Really long paragraphs, grammar mistakes here and there, and the flow wasn't there. But as I kept reading I notice how better your writing gets every chapter. You have a great way with words and I love how your writing your story. The many characters you have in your story doesn't bother me at all. You're somehow not bombarding us with your characters. Great job and keep up the amazing writing.
