[Ellie's P.O.V]

I woke up in a mess of sheets by myself. With a long stretch, and a squeal to go along with it, I rolled over to my side to look out the window. It had to be at least 11:00. I propped myself up and looked over to check my phone. Next to it I found a sticky note from Peyton.

It read:

   Dear Ellie,

Sorry I left without telling you first. I know you want me to stay with you for the next couple of days. Anyways, you looked pretty peaceful so I wanted to let you sleep. I'm taking the morning class session again. (Last class ever!) I should be back around 13:30. Have a great day gorgeous face. xx

I laughed at her last words. 'Gorgeous face', yea I'm far from it. I was right about the time, so I had two and a half hours until Peyton got back. In the meantime, I turned the radio on and jumped in the shower. As I was loudly singing along to Bastille, I stopped urgently when a loud bang sounded off my front door. I quickly scrambled to turn off the water and reach for a towel before even daring to say anything. Looking through the peephole, I could see it was just the apartment owner. Before she could pound on it again, I opened the door enough for her to see my face and not my towel-wrapped body.

"Why hello Miss Goulding, sorry to bother you. I just have a complaint of loud music and was wondering if you could lower it a tad bit."

"Yes, yes of course I'm very sorry."

She smirked a bit before making her way back to the stairs. I closed and locked the door once again.

"Bitch."

I finished my shower and went on to clean the flat up a bit. The couch was still pushed against the doors from last night. I'm going to keep it there for the sake of Peyton feeling safe. My phone started vibrating in my front pocket. I took it out to see it was Peyton. I was quick to answer it.

"Hello lovely how are you doing?"

"Ellie I need you to come to my uni"

She was in a low, whisper like voice. Something had to be wrong.

"Why? Is everything ok?"

"Someone parked their car outside the classroom and had their head glued in my direction the whole class and I don't even want to move a muscle."

"Okay, okay. Can you stay in the classroom until I get there?"

"The professor had to leave, so we all were bascially pushed out the door. Please hurry Ellie..."

"Alright just stay put I'll be there as fast as I possibly can."

She hung up the phone with a  little hesitation. I threw my phone to the table and quickly ran around the flat picking up my belongings as I made my way to the door. By the time I was in the car I had one Doc Marten on and one arm in my jacket. I didn't bother to spend time putting the rest on so I started up the car as I was. Luckily I only lived about 5 minutes away from the University of Kent so I was there in no time. I pulled up right behind a public bus and jumped out of the car, fixing my other boot on the way. I threw my jacket off so I could easily run to the campus. I spotted the car she must have been talking about, and then her, bent down on the side of the building. She got up when she seen me and ran to meet my arms. I embraced her with a tight hug.

"Nobody hurt you, right?"

"No..."'

I put my hands on her shoulders and brought her back to face me. My hands moved up to cup her cheeks and since nobody was around to see, I gave a long and passionate kiss. She moved her hands around my waist and pulled me closer. It would have went on if it weren't for the fact we were still in public. I pulled back and looked her in the eyes.
