[Ellie's P.O.V]

*A week later, Ellie is about to fly out to America to begin tour*

"Ellie you have your bags right?"

Jamie came around the corner and sat next to me as I was looking out the window at the planes coming in. I looked over and pointed to a pile of my bags.

"Thanks love, don't worry you will be back in no time. For now, lets go get on that plane."

He reached his hand out for mine and we walked to our gate. The woman took our tickets and pointed in the direction we had to go. I stopped right before we entered the jetway. Jamie turned around to face me, giving me a look of wonder.

"I'll be right in, I just have to make a quick call."

He nodded and pointed to his wrist as a signal to make it quick. I dug my phone out of my pocket and quickly dialed Peyton's number. It rang 5 times with no answer. I tried one more time. Still no answer. The lady came over to me with a key, about to close the jetway off. I jumped up and ran down and into the plane, catching it just seconds before they were about to close the door.

Jamie was already seated in the back of the plane with the band. I gave my bags to the assistant and took my seat on a small couch by a tiny window. Chris came over to me and handed me a drink.

"Here, you need one of these."

I looked up as he sat down by my side. The glass fit perfectly in my hand and I tapped it against his.

"Cheers."

We both took a big sip before he looked out the window.

"So," he began turning his head back to me, "What's wrong?"

"It's just this girl...."

He grew silent and I looked up to see he had a huge smile on his face.

"Ellie that's great, I'm happy you found someone!"

I swallowed the lump building up in my throat and shut my eyes so the tears would stay put. The gin in the glass was spinning around from my hands shaking. Chris put his hand on my shoulder.

"Yea, I'm happy too, but I had to leave her behind and we were just starting to take off..."

He poured his remaining drink into my glass.

"Just relax, you guys will be back together soon. For now, drink that, you need it."

I took another sip from the glass and rested my head on my elbow as I watched the clouds outside go by.

*8 hours later, in America*

"Ellie, over here. Stay behind Joe, Chris, and me. The paps are already outside."

I nodded and put my jacket on, making sure to put the hood over my head. We were immediately bombarded by a dozen paps, flashing pictures of us left and right. Random 'Ellie who was the girl with you yesterday?' s and 'Ellie look to me' s came from the men around us. Shite. They knew about me and Peyton. It wasn't that I wanted to hide our relationship, I was quite proud of it really. But I have a very weird mother like protection over Peyton. I don't want her being exposed to these twats that invade peoples' privacy as a living.

Since we chose New York city as our starting city, I should have prepared myself better for these buggers. My phone began ringing and I pulled it out to see a name starting with P and didn't waste another second to answer it.

"Hello?"

[Peyton's P.O.V]

"Hello?"

Her voice instantly calmed me. Just minutes before I picked up to call, another one of those men were at the door and wouldn't leave.
