[Peyton's P.O.V]

Ellie was about to say something before I pushed her out if the way. The woman slowed down a little before tackling me to the ground. Ellie couldn't do much more than watch as I went against the force of her hands to hold me down. She took hold of my wrists and I yelled out in pain from the rope burns that were re-opened not too long ago. That made a jolt of fury alarm somehow within my body and I nearly became the real life Hulk. With all the strength that made me build up, I pushed my arms up and kicked her away, making sure to jump back to my feet before she herself could get back up. She tried getting up, but I pushed her back down.

"Can't you just leave me alone? Go find some other girl to try and mess with!"

She took that hint well. When she got back to her feet, out of breath, she looked to Ellie and then to me.

"One day you'll come around, they always do."

When she said that she looked me in the eyes, and I gave a sharp look back. She gave Ellie one more glare before turning around on her heels and walking off in silence. I was still out of breath from the amount of fury that built up in me so I leaned against the wall and put my hands on my knees. Ellie stayed silent the whole time. In my mind, I figured Ellie didn't want nothing to do with me now. It was useless to stand in the hallway in silence. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked up at her.

Ellie looked to me with the confused look that she's been making since we knocked into each other. Someone went to come in through the door, and made a really awkward face when they opened it to see two women standing up against a wall; one breathing heavy and one confused as anything. I took this as my chance to walk out of the complex, so I grabbed the door right before it could close. I just didn't feel like I was wanted there anymore. All I cause Ellie is worry, and I even made her pick up a cigarette. I could hear her start to say my name but it got cut off by the slam of the door. It was almost fully dark outside and I nearly tripped right over a rock.

I picked up my pace and went over to a bench and sat with my hands as close to myself as I could get them for warmth. The bench was located behind the entrance I came out from, so I figured it would take a little for Ellie to find my whereabouts. I heard the door squeak open and her voice peep my name out. It got cut off my her scream, which made me jump up from the bench and run to the door. When I rounded the side of the wall, my eyes set on the man Ellie encountered on my campus a few days ago.

"You little shit.." I said under my breath, but he still heard it.

He had Ellie's mouth covered and his other hand feeling around. She had a pure look of fear in her eyes. I'm positive I had rage in mine. Me and Ellie were together, not that man and her so there's no reason as to why his hands should be all over her. I walked closer to them and he gripped Ellie tightly, causing her to close her eyes tight.

"Haha, you don't wanna do that. Look what you're causing her..pain..."

"Listen take me not her. It's not her you want, it's me. Come on, come and get me."

He looked to Ellie then back to me. With a rough push to the side, Ellie went flying into the wall. He came running at me, full speed. I moved out of the way and ran to Ellie to help her up. When I moved, I made sure to trip him, making him fall right on his face. Ellie tugged on my arm for me to start running. We ran down the street, through a car park, and into a small mini mart before running out of breath. Ellie asked the lady at the register if there was a washroom, and when she pointed where it was Ellie fled to it, pulling me behind.

The lady gave us a weird look but turned away to serve a customer. When we stumbled in through the door, Ellie locked it behind her so no one could come in. Still breathing heavily, she tried talking.
