[Ellie's P.O.V]

I fell asleep feeling pure happiness. The series of events that happened just made my love for Peyton even stronger. I feel like our love for each other is finally back in the right place after a few rough patches from these past couple of days. I hated them, the rough patches. Seeing Peyton upset or me being upset with her was the last thing I wanted for our relationship.

By the time I had gotten a bittersweet 5 hours of sleep, a ray of sun came peeping into my room, shinning down on the bed and our faces. It gave Peyton a angelic glow, which made her even more gorgeous, even though I don't think that's possible. She was already the most gorgeous girl I've seen.

I rolled over with tired eyes to place a soft kiss on her shoulder. She flinched awake and positioned her body to face mine. Her nose came to touch my own and I felt her soft lips make contact with me.

"Good morning beautiful," she said as she pulled back.

My hand caressed her cheek and she sent a smile my way, instantly giving me a warm feeling. Our faces came closer and we stayed put for a few minutes, just enjoying each others arms around one another, and embracing the warmness between us.

I felt a hand reach down and playfully grab my bum, making me laugh and look down. Her mouth came by my ear, kissing the side of my neck before bringing her voice to a whisper.

"I'm gonna go take a shower."

I smiled as she got up, still wearing my oversized shirt. I couldn't help but stare at her perfect figure until I lost sight of her as she closed the door slightly. As the water stuttered to turn on, I heard a faint humming echo out into the hallway. My head perked up as I listened, slowly moving my body to stand up so I could get closer. As I walked, I walked with grace, trying not to make the slightest sound so she wouldn't hear me. By the time I reached the door, the humming turned into a toned down singing.

I squeezed through the open bedroom door to lean against the door frame to the washroom. Steam flowed out the tiny crack she left the door open. She must have not realized I even moved from the bed so now she was fully singing, belting out the chorus to "Be Mine". A immediate smile came to my face, remembering the cover I had done with Erik Hassle.

After another 20 seconds of listening I couldn't help it to start singing lightly myself. I heard the water stop suddenly before a little squeaking noise came from the shower curtain.

"I hear you, you know."

My eyes widened and I must have pulled the most grotty face I've ever made.

"I uh, was just walking by and I heard you so started singing along too. Great song choice."

"Nice try"

The water picked back up again and I walked away, falling face first into the bed. I let out a hard breath before turning over to go through my phone. I had 2 missed calls from Jamie, my manager. He must want to know when I want to start tour. Right as I was about to call back, a towel-wrapped Peyton came to stand in the door way.

"Can I borrow a hair tie?"

I went over with one in my hand.

"You're gonna have to hug me for it."

She looked down at herself, knowing if she hugged me it would make her towel drop.

"You little..."

Before she could finish I pulled her into me, kissing her lips. She moaned in excitement.

"You have a beautiful singing voice by the way, maybe you should go on tour instead of me."
