[Peytons P.O.V]

"Oh shut up alarm clock."

Yet again, it was Monday and time to start another lousy week of uni. Thankfully this was my last week of my very last semester. I hopped out of bed and did my morning routine, making sure to add on my Ellie Goulding beanie on the way out the door. It's super cold this time of year in London, especially since I take night classes, so I always made sure to have it on. Plus, it's just a bonus she just so happens to be my all-time favourite singer. University kids filled the streets, all rushing to get to the tube. I'm known for being fashionably late, but for some reason today I made an extra effort to actually get to the tube on time.

It worked, too. I made it in just as the door closed. I always choose the very back because no one is there most of the time. Today there was about two people so I had a fair choice of seats. Being that I had at least 10 more stops to go until I had to get off, I leaned my head back and closed my eyes. Out of no where, a blonde haired lady sat next to me and I nearly jumped out of my skin. I heard her let out a silent giggle.

"I'm sorry about that love, I didn't mean to scare you"

Without looking over at her, I nodded and stretched my arms out a little. I could still feel her stare. Was there something on my face?

"I like your beanie."

This comment made me perk my head up whilst smiling.

"Tha-wow."

I couldn't believe my eyes. Was that really her? THE Ellie Goulding? She looked down at herself and laughed. I couldn't move. My body suddenly turned into a statue.

"I'm assuming you know who I am?"

I moved my mouth but wordscouldn't come out. She just continued laughing.

"Um, yea. Yea I do."

The speaker boomed out letting people know what stop we were at, which of course with my luck, it was my stop. I reached for my bag, almost painfully, knowing I'm breaking up the time with my idol. She realized I was getting off and without hesitating grabbed my wrist before I could exit. I quickly looked back at her.

"Why don't we go and have some tea together at my flat?"

I looked back and forth from the closing door to her. Every time I looked at her, she smiled with hopeful eyes. I let the doors fully close and I sat back down.

"I don't believe I caught your name. You already know mine so there's no point in telling you."

"Oh, I'm Peyton. But you can call me Pea or Pey. Whatever you wish."

"Peyton...hmm. that's cute..I like it."

I smiled from ear to ear. Her voice alone brings me to smile. I could listen to her talk to me all day. Her stop was only a few stops from mine, so in no time we were walking the stairs to get to her front door. She reached for her keys and unlocked the door, revealing a cozy flat. Immediately she kicked her Doc Martens off and threw her jacket onto a nearby chair. Me on the other hand, made my way to stand by her couch stiff as a board. She walked over to me and placed her hands on my bag to take it off.

"Don't be silly, take a load off! Stay a while!"

I let her take my bag, which she put down in her room. I placed my shoes and coat near a hanger and lead myself back to where she was. She had already begun heating up water for green tea. She didn't realize I was standing behind her yet, so I admired her. Just how perfect she is to see in person. Her hair, outfit, everything. All just so wonderful. Who couldn't love her? I moved my foot a little bit causing the floor to creak and she turned around.
