Keith woke up, groaning at the dim, unwelcoming light filling the room. He glanced up, seeing the dark clouds, no sun to be found. The grumpy male got out of bed, not seeing the point in staying, even if it was warm and cozy. He got ready for the dreadful day.

Keith was still slightly depressed from yesterday. There had been a storm, there still was, so the sky wasn't clear. He couldn't stargaze. It was a part of his evening routine, but sometimes it gets hindered by obstacles. Like annoying clouds.

Keith took his shoulder bag from the counter, as he left the apartment. Knowing Shiro was sleeping in. He came back from his girlfriend's, also known as Allura, house late yesterday. Heavens knows what they did. He didn't even want to know.

Keith leaned against the bus-stop pole, ticked off to beyond, because it was drizzling. He hated autumn. He really did, but it has become even worse.

Winter's coming. It had become colder, and the streets were slipperier than usual.

Keith remembered the beautiful scene from a few days ago. He and Pidge went to the shop and saw Lance carrying some boxes while crossing the street. Because the delivery truck always delivers it at the flower shop from across. Nobody knows why. Lance had slipped and had fallen, all the flour exploded in his face. Keith hadn't laughed that much in years.

Lance had said it was Keith's fault because he had distracted Lance, and that made Keith laugh even more, maybe blush a little too. Lance had ignored him for the rest of the day, and he kept it up until now.

The bus came sooner than expected, to Keith's luck. He entered as quickly as possible. Not bothering to show his pass. He went over to his special place. It was three rows to the back, by the middle door, against the back of a seat. Keith leaned against it and looked at one spot in particular, his eyes saddening. The, now empty, seat facing him at the other side of the door of the bus, is Lance's seat. The bus was less packed now that it was a month later. And kids took busses that came later.

Keith sighed as he remembered he only had one class and it was at ten today. He glanced at his phone, seeing it was barely nine in the morning. He remembered Lance always took the bus at seven.

Keith sighed again, he kinda regretted changing his studies three weeks ago. Leaving Pidge to her own devices.. But so was he, he changed astronomy for Art. He secretly had a hidden talent for painting and drawing. He was allowed to use Coran's art studio. He hadn't painted in two years. Ever since he started university, his passion had drifted away. He asked if he could try out in the studio and that's when he picked it up again. He showed some paintings to the headmasters of the university and they let him skip the first two years, so once again, he's in his last year now. He knew he'd maybe have to redo this year. But when he was younger he already studied every art form, and everything surrounding the subject by himself.

Keith thanked Coran, who he had met along with Allura via Pidge. Coincidentally, Allura was Shiro's girlfriend. They'd been together for almost a half year. Keith questioned Shiro why he had never introduced her to him.

Keith thought back at Monday, before Lance started to ignore him. They had both taken the bus at seven. When Keith had entered the bus, only four other people were on it. And one took Keith's attention, Lance. there he sat gracefully, giving Keith subtle glances, over his phone screen. Keith stuck out his tongue after ten glances and Lance retreated the childish act. Instead of talking, like normal people. They had texted each other, and it had become their thing.

Keith chuckled, staring longingly at the empty seat. He remembered when he had met Lance for the second time, after they first met. As confusing as it sounds, Lance had written his phone number on the macchiato cup, and Keith couldn't contain his smile. Shiro found it quite strange why Keith kept a cup, and refused to throw it away.
