The kiss. It was unexpected but damn was it good. I felt as if my body was floating in air. I didn't want it to end but was it a mistake that it even began. Finally we pulled away from each other. Both gasping for air and not knowing what to do next.

'That shouldn't of happened. That was a mistake.' Katie said leaning her head back against the sofa. She was right but I didn't stop it, I wanted it. 'No it wasn't.' I said bluntly. She opened her eyes and gave me a questionable look. 'I've wanted to kiss you since I fist saw you. I'm not sorry it happened.' I stared at her lips wanting more. 'But Simon, you have a girlfriend and this isn't right. We shouldn't...' before she could say anything else I cut her off by pulling her closer to me and attaching our lips. 'We can't...' she tried to say but once again I stopped her.

After a few more minutes she pulled away again and stood up. 'This is wrong. You have a family. I can't be the other woman.' Katie protested walking back and forth in front of me. I got up and put my hands around her waist. 'Technically Adele and I aren't together right now. Plus we don't have to be serious. We can be friends that like to do very adult stuff together.' I said giving her a smirk and then kissing the side of her neck.

She moved out of my reach and fixed her shirt. 'You want to be friends with benefits?' She asked in an annoyed tone. 'If you don't want to just say the word and we'll be strictly just friends.' I replied slowly walking towards her. 'You and Adele aren't together?' She asked again. I shook my head and pushed her against the wall. 'Just this one time.' Katie responded breathlessly.

The light from the sun woke me up and my head was pounding. I felt disoriented and looked around to help myself remember what happened last night. And then I saw her. There laying next to me with just a sheet covering her body was Katie. I leaned back on my pillow and thought back to what we had done. My phone started ringing and brought me back to reality.

'Hello.'
'Hey. I forgot I have a work meeting at half past ten so I need you to come get Angelo. If it's okay.'
I put my hand over my eyes and took in a deep breath.
'No problem. I'll be there in fifteen minutes.'

My mind started to race and didn't know what to do next. 'Katie. Katie, wake up.' I yelled shaking her. She rolled over and gave me a strange look. 'I have to go pick up my baby. We have to go.' I said trying to hurry and get ready. I rushed to find some clothes and help Katie find hers.

I dropped off Katie on the way and then when I pulled into Adele's driveway my heart started racing. 'I'm here.' I yelled when I walked into her house. 'Hey, babe. All his stuff is in the bag I just have to fix his bottle real quick.' I nodded and went upstairs to get Angelo. When I returned downstairs, Adele was standing by the door waiting on me. 'Thanks for picking him up earlier.' She said as we walked out. I took his bags from her and put his car seat in my car.

'Hey, by the way since when did you start wearing women's perfume.' My heart instantly stopped and I just looked at Adele. I could feel myself get red from embarrassment. 'Looks like I'm not the only one going behind someone's back, huh?'
