No more crying, not one tear shed.
I won't cry in my bed before I go and rest,
not anymore, I'm not that weak girl you met,
I won't let myself be pulled away
like a fish dying in a single net,
or a man caught in a silly bet.
I won't be a puppet used by others,
pulled by strings held by the devil's daughter,
or pushed around by friends of my brother.
I will not walk with my eyes downcast
'cause my eyes will give you a god-like blast.
The decision, the grace,
the fire, that blaze
it will go out of its maze
as it was stuck for all an age.
My chin held high,
as the light hits my face
will show you that little girl
will finally show you her best.
She will not give up,
she will never stop.
Unstoppable like the sun,
beaming its light at all of you.
She will shine at last,
she has waited long enough.
So lift up your jaw, there are flies around,
look at the past, see where you missed.
Look at me in the eyes, and realize who she is.
