You are the first I saw when I first opened my eyes.
You are a man I will love all my life.
You held me when I gave my first steps,
kiss me goodnight when I go to bed,
make me sleep on restless nights,
makes my mornings oh so bright.
You tell me everything is gonna be all right,
even when mom screams and cries,
cause when I see your dark brown eyes
you lull me to bed and kiss me good night,
after you give me a good damn fright.
I'm sorry for the way I act.
If I ignore your calls or hit your back
I am sorry if I don't express my love,
but daddy I just love you even more.
Daddy, don't forget this thing here
when I scream full of fear
