Chris woke up colder than when he went to sleep. He brought his knees to his chest, closing his eyes as he tried to get the shivers to subside. He blamed it on his wet clothes. Although they were mostly dry now. Chris climbed out of bed after a few minutes, his hands not shaking. He decided to just leave the hotel.
Chris threw the keycard on the clerk desk, probably too frantic to actually leave. He frowned as he pulled out his phone. It was on three percent, and he had several missed calls from Ricky. Chris shook it off as he slowly made his way home. He found the walk soothing in a way.
The tall goth was more than disappointed to find Ricky's car in his driveway. He reluctantly made his way up the steps. He growled, finding his door unlocked. He was a freak about locking the door.
"Chris!" Ricky sobbed, running to the taller man as soon as he stepped into the living room. Chris glared down at him, crossing his arms.
"What are you doing here?"
"We've been fucking looking for you! You stormed off and we couldn't find you! I thought you hurt yourself!"
"I'm fine." Chris muttered, shoving past the shorter man. He frowned at the sight of a woman on his couch sleeping. "Who's that?"
"Thad Devin." Ricky whispered. "I was... I was freaking out so he came to calm me down."
"Both of you leave. I'm not in the mood." Chris made his way upstairs for a much needed shower. He turned the water on, quickly stripping out his clothes. He quickly showered, closing his eyes as he relaxed. He dressed in a pair of grey sweatpants and a baggy shirt. Chris let out a groan as he walked into his kitchen to see Ricky and Devin cooking.
"You're eating something."
"I went to IHOP this morning. I had pancakes." Chris snit, glaring at the growing pile of bacon and pancakes. "I don't need anymore."
"Please Chris. Don't be difficult today."
"I told you I'm fine". Chris muttered. He wished his phone was charged so he could have an excuse to ignore the shorter man. "I told you to leave".
"You told me he said it was fine for us to stay."
"It is fine. Chris needs to have someone watching him." Ryan sighed.
"I do not!" Chris yelled, stomping towards him. "Get out! Get out! Get out!"
Ricky stood his ground, looking up at Chris. "Not until you eat in front of me."
"Please just go. I'm not in the mood Ricky." He whispered. "I just want to sleep."
"You're tired cause you're hungry! You can't function like this!"
"Ricky, stop." Devin whispered, gripping Ricky's arms. "We can't force him into something. He wants us gone so we'll go. We can come check on him later."
"Fine". Ricky whispered. "Chris, I hope you're okay." Chris watched them leave. He threw the food in the trash, the smell making his stomach churn. Chris hurried upstairs, pulling his phone out. He quickly whimpered as he saw the app updating.
