Chapter 2; Aldion

Note; There on Earth.

(Kimber's POV)

We made it through the patrol and I noticed that we were staying at Niemph's house, my cousin (he's actually human)! My Aunt and Uncle showed Mason, Barkly, Leo, and I around the house and allowed us to relax in our rooms.

I explored my room while Barkly went downstairs to eat. The windows light caught my attention. Getting up and looking through the window, I noticed a zoo. There was an actual zoo outside my window! I wonder if that's where the Headquarters is?

(Barkly's POV)

I left Kimber upstairs in the room she's staying in for the time. The boys are sharing with Niemph in his bedroom. I'm currently downstairs because of the tantalizing smell of meat, could be cow. Wandering through the kitchen and out the backdoor, I spot a farm.

The weathered red paint of the barn was easily seen from Niemph's house. The Barn's doors were open, so I walked cautiously to it. A Vampire stood near a black horse inside the barn. The horse seemed female by the scent. The Vampire was male and had black hair with orange eyes. His clothes seemed to be worned out because his dark blue jeans were tattered and his shirt torn. Staying hidden, I continue to watch the Vampire.

'Whats a Vampire doing living with half-humans?' Unless.... He could be an agent, but i've never seen him before. I mentally facepalmed when I realized the vampire could sense me even though I was hiding.

"Hello," The Vampire turned around and smiled, his orange eyes seemed too happy about having company.

"Hello" I said, shyly. 'I wonder?' "What you're name and what're you doing here?" I asked the Vampire.

"Aldion, and this here," He pointed to the black mare. "Is Kuramsumi, meaning darkness, but that already evident by her coat. And what about your name?"

"Barkly, Agent B for short."

"Agent A. Is Agent K and Agent M made it yet?" Aldion asked. He seemed more worried about Kim and Mason then he did Leo.

Kimber walked in. 'Thank goodness, sometimes Vampire can be such a bore' Kimber was dragging Mason and her cousin, Niemph. Niemph has orange dye hair with hazel eyes. I turned back to Aldion and noticed he had dark skin, uncommon for Vampires.

"Hey, Aldion. How's the sun cloak lotion?" Niemph asked Aldion in a casual voice.

"Sun cloak lotion is lotion for Vampires, right?" I asked nervously.

"Yes, and it keeps the sun from harming them without using an umbrella." Kimber answered with a smile while Mason just stood there silently.

I heard footsteps, a Strange man had Leo by the arm. The dark skinned male, smirked at us knowing no one will move because he got a friend (Leo can't handle his element). His flaming red hair and green shirt, suggests he's a mixed element of fire and nature. The man released Leo and lowered himself to the ground. His bones began to crack and pop as his body changed it's form.

The stranger was a shifter, a dark shifter.

(Note) Aldion is a Dark element. A Dark shifter is a Mimic that falls into the Dark element.
