*Aria*
I couldn't recollect the series of events, just that Jasper was hovering above me, the vibration of his hands causing the temperature of my skin to rise. It was excruciating; the pain was causing so much discomfort. My eyes darted to the beautiful blonde that had menacingly threatened me several weeks earlier. There was something sinister about her smile, she flicked her hair and swiftly left the uninhabited hallways.
"Aria-Aria, a-re you okay" there was a deep concern in his breaking voice
"Yeah, I think I am" I loathed the helplessness layered in my voice,
Somehow I couldn't shake off the feeling of vulnerability which was drenched in fear and arrived soon after she had left.
"You sure you're not hurt A-"
"I'm fine Jasper why you so worried?"
His face hardened but his eyes were burning with intensity
"Cause I- care about you"
there was an uncomfortable pause
"I've not known you for long, but there has is something about you that-- I can't explain but I know that it's love .. I love you"
"You can't" Aria's reply was barely audible " I am not like other girls -- something's happening to me it's scary-- I don't know what it is but..it's not normal, I am not normal.
"Aria you can tell me anything " there was deep concern coated in his voice, lines were thatched on his face as he tried to figure out the problem his voice caught on the last word as if he was catching his emotions and preventing them from erupting.
"It's me- my legs are weakening am drawn to the sea 'I -- I hate men with such ferocity as if I can kill someone.
Jasper couldn't help himself his hallow mouth opened incredulously and laughter poured out
"Me being the exception, of course, his eyes twinkled with amusement processing all that she had said
"Its okay Aria, it's probably your hormones or something --my sister likens it to some hermonial balance
"You don't understand, Jasper it's not like that ... you know I don't feel like talking she put her palms on the ground and lifted herself up and left leaving a perplexed Jasper behind staring a grasp ahead of her.
*Aria*
He doesn't understand they never do, there was something strange in the atmosphere she rushed to the lavatory and felt a disgusting reflex up cramming her throat. She craned her neck and meet her reflection in the grimy mirror that had been unwashed, there she saw her eyes glisten an unnatural emerald green, there was something primal about that look and it scared her more than she wished to admit.
She thought of Jasper crocheted on the corridor watching her walking away and then thought back to what he had said earlier that moment.
"I've not known you for long, but there is something about you that-- I can't explain but I know that it's love .. I love you"
She loved him too there was something there unequivocally she couldn't explain it but it was there lingering in the back forests of her mind. When she walked into the classroom that day and it was there when she looked into his eyes. Whilst he bent over her pained distress webbed all over his face as if she was dying there in his arms and there was nothing he could do to save her.
She remembered what her mother had said to her when she was 14 and teaching her about the male species and what bornes from the love shared between two people.
" Soulmates exist in this world to save us from ourselves your father was mine"
Jasper was hers she knew it but there was a feeling of seeded agony whenever she was close to him. It was true that she didn't hate him not in the way she hated other men that looked in her direction but in equal measure, she was troubled by what would happen if she allowed herself to be with him and she was not talking about this current state of affliction but a future one.
Just then the bell rang and she needed to escape the bathroom no amount of throwing up was going to suffice finishing today's lectures she needed to go home.
She brushed her hair and pinched her cheeks trying to draw some colour to them but then opted against it the school nurse needed to see that she was sickly so she can be excused from present lectures. Picking her bags and rinsing her mouth with the sink water after she made her way to the nurse's office but not before texting Jasper
'Ill going home right now x she removed the x settling for the latter deciding not to stir some unsaid things in the process and walked out of the school building after being granted authorization from the nurse who nearly fainted at the sight of her and ushered her quickly out of the premises to the direction of her house and mother.
*Jasper
His phone pinged with a text message
Aria ill going home right now
He had hoped she would be joining him in class, lessons were not quite the same without him glancing at her side profile or his heart fluttering when her skin brushed his after she passed him a pen, like it was second nature between them and not a result of his carelessness. He had been slightly disappointed that he could not draw more from her message it almost appeared abruptly harsh, but he was being selfish she was ill this wasn't the time for proclamations of love, he needed to see if she was alright that she was ok for his sake.
