If anyone leaves a sarcastic comment about how they're glad I'm not dead, I will block you.  I will not by bullied.  Here's the truth guys, sometimes I just kinda forget that this whole thing is here and that I'm suppose to regularly update it. Okay, I often forget, but that's not the point.  So I've returned with a new contest. This one is about rain.  Don't ask me how the weather is where I live. I'm down south and it's winter so it's dry and grey and bleak, and that's about it.

I ask that you write a story about rain. And that's really the only mandatory plot theme.  I like rain, so I want to read about it. As per usual I ask that this story be contained within one part to avoid having to read through and thoroughly judge a bunch of small novels. You may submit your story by private message.  And I would like to clarify that I do not mean to literally copy and paste the entire story to my inbox. You are to tell me the name of the story so I can find it on your account or send me a link.  However, if you did not publish it on your account, which is sometimes the case, then I will make an exception. But if it's on your account please do not send me the whole thing in my messages.  The deadline for this contest is Tuesday, March 14th. So that's two weeks to get it done.  I'm usually pretty lenient on these deadlines but please, please, please do try your best to get them in on time.  As always there are only 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners and the placements receive the following:

First Place: A follow, your story will be added to a public reading list, and I will read, comment, and vote on an unrelated work. (If you have any.)

Second Place: Your story will be added to a public reading list, and I will read, comment, and vote on an unrelated work. (If you have any.)

Third Place: I will read, comment, and vote on an unrelated work. (If you have any.)

If you place I will inform you before I publicly post the results via private message.  So, you have two weeks to write me a short story about rain.  I advise you to use a lot of sensory and scenic description, it's an aesthetic that will likely have you ranking higher in my literary judgements. Wow, I sound like a batty English teacher. Oh well. Get your shit in on time and I'll be back in two weeks with the results. Good luck.  Xoxo

You've reached the end of published parts.
