The next morning I went over to Sasha's and Alistar's house. As soon as Sasha answered the door, I was swept up into her room.
"Oh my gosh, how was your date with Alistar?" She gushed happily.
"It was great. We went to that retro diner on Davis."
"That's sweet." After talking for a little while we decided to watch a movie. We decided to watch a comedy and were laughing for the majority of the film. By the time the credits were rolling, we were still laughing and repeating our favorite parts.
Alistar came into the room and smirked at the sight of us.
"What are you guys laughing about?" He asked.
"We just watched the funniest movie ever," Sasha explained.
I opened my mouth to agree and tell him about it when I remembered the bet and closed my mouth. Alistar noticed though.
"Sage, how was the movie? Did you like it?" He stared right at me.
I shook my head yes and turned away from his gaze. I was not going to lose.
Sasha got a confused look on her face. "What's going on?" She looked between the two of us completely confused as Alistar smirked and I couldn't help but smile. "I thought you said you guys had a good time on your date. You guys can't break up already."
"We didn't. Alistar and I just have a bet. One where I can't talk to him and he can't say anything egotistical."
Sasha's face broke out into understanding. "Good luck with that guys. I can't tell who'll cave first but I'm sure it won't be long before one of you do."
"I— " Alistar stopped immediately as he realized what he was going to say.
I smirked knowing he was about to say I can totally win.
"I'm going to go get a drink would either of you like one?" he asked.
"Sasha can you tell Alistar that I'd like a root beer."I relayed to Sasha.
"Sure. Alistar, Sage wants a root beer." She smiled at him.
"Hey you can't do that. That's cheating," he accused.
"Sasha, can remind Alistar that the bet was that I couldn't talk to him. And I'm not talking to him right? I'm talking to you."
"She's talking to me Alistar, not you."
"Stupid technicality. Would you like a drink, Sasha?"
"No. I'm actually meeting Trey in a couple minutes. He's taking me somewhere."
"Okay then. One root beer." Alistar left the room to get the drinks.
"So you're going somewhere with Trey?"
"Yeah, his family is having some kind of party or something and he invited me."
"That's awesome. Meeting the family already," I joked.
"Yeah, I'm really excited."
Alistar came back and handed me my root beer.
"Hey, Sasha. If I could talk to Alistar I would say thank you."
"And he would say you're welcome," he replied back.
"And Sasha would say she's leaving you two love birds to go see Trey. Bye."
"Bye," Alistar and I replied.
"Now it's just the two of us." I nodded.
"And you can't talk to me." I nodded again grabbing a piece of paper and then searching for a pencil. When I found one, I wrote down I can't talk to you but that doesn't mean I can't kiss you. Then I showed it to him.
"Good thought." His lips met mine and my arms wrapped around his neck. His hands found their way to my waist as my tongue delved into his mouth. Pretty soon we were both horizontal on the couch. Every few minutes someone else was on the bottom and we moved around making out. About an hour later, we wrapped it up and I grabbed the paper and pencil. We should stop before someone comes home.
"I think we're safe with that but why don't we watch a movie now." I nodded and smiled.
"Great I'll pick it." He found a DVD and put it in. He came back over to the couch and we snuggled up under some blankets.
After the movie ended, it was getting late and I had to get home.
I should be heading home now.
"Yeah, but what happens now? No one lost and the day is pretty much over with."
I say we call it a draw.
"So that's it no one wins."
How about this? Tomorrow I'll do whatever you want and them on Monday you have to do whatever I want.
He thought it over. "Sound like a good idea to me. Now say something to me."
"What do you want me to say?" I said laughing.
"That works for me. Want me to drive you home?" he offered.
"Could you? That'd be great." So Alistar drove me home and dropped me off.
"I'm already thinking of all the things that I can make you do tomorrow." He smirked.
"Yeah well just remember that I can make you do anything I want on Monday so I'd be careful with what you have me do."
"It's not going to be anything bad. Trust me."
"I do." I gave him a kiss. "I'll see you see. Bye."
"Bye." Then he drove off as I went inside and to bed.
