It was sunny and bright as Zoe pulled the car up into the car park for Summer in the City. There were people milling all about talking to others and I couldn't wait to get out of the car and just talk to people.

Probably my favourite part about being a youtuber was talking to and meeting so many people. It really bothered me now that I had so many viewers I couldn't interact with them all. I wanted to make them all happy, but I just couldn't, so I always tried my hardest to make as many happy as I could.

"Our meetup is down my the fountain where yours was yesterday," Louise said as we got out of the car into the sun. I followed behind Zoe as we walked down the hill to where a group of people were milling about looking lost, like they were waiting for someone.

One person spotted us and pointed shouting, then everyone started talking loudly and walking towards us. There were a lot of people here today. I knew it was going to be a fun day, but also a tiring day.

_____________

It was many hours later and I was back in my own house. Kimmi was asleep when I got home and I was glad of it. I had a lot to think about, and everything that had happened during the day.

After the meetup Louise, Zoe, and I had been shuffled into a private room where a few special viewers who had paid extra money were going to get to meet us and have us sign stuff and everything. That was where the day kind of went downhill.

There was about fifteen minutes where we were just in there alone waiting for the officer people to return with some of our viewers. Louise had gone to the bathroom so it was just me and Zoe alone. For some reason that thought excited me. I didn't want it to though. It couldn't. I loved Kimmi.

Well me loving Kimmi didn't stop me from kissing Zoe. It was quite bizarre though. We were just sitting next to each other not talking when Zoe looked at me and smiled. I leaned in a kissed her. Just like that.

She was shocked, to say the least, but I knew she enjoyed it. I pulled away instantly telling her how sorry I was. Her cheeks had turned bright red and she just kind of looked away. The tension in the room was awkward and we didn't talk to each other until Louise came back from the bathroom and the few lucky, and rich, viewers came to meet us.

I couldn't stop thinking about Zoe's kiss the entire day and trying to convince myself that it didn't mean anything. It didn't though. It really didn't.

Zoe and I didn't talk the rest of the day and when Louise invited me go to dinner with them I politely declined and got a cab back to my house. I knew Kimmi was probably worrying where I was by that point.

Of course I was disappointed when I returned home to realise that she was asleep. She probably didn't even care where I had been the entire day.

So that was how I ended up lying on my bed in a dark room totally awake, my mind a race of different thoughts. Why did I have to be so confused right now. It wasn't fair. Before Zoe had turned up I knew exactly the direction my life was going, but now I wasn't so sure.

Before I went to bed I stood up and got down on my knees, looking under the bed. Towards the middle under the bed I found it and pulled it out. It was an old shoe box filled with packing peanuts. I sifted my hands through the packaging until I found the small velvet box.

I lifted it out and opened it. The gorgeous ring inside glittered in the light from the moon outside. I had bought the ring a year ago and was just waiting until the perfect moment to ask Kimmi to spend the rest of her life with me.

As I moved my finger around the ring and watched it glittered I wondered if that perfect moment would ever even come.
