I felt terrible for leaving Zoe so quickyl but I really had to make it back home to Kimmi or she would flip. Even though I left right when we finished, I didn't make it home until later so she did flip, like I had predicted. Not that much though, which was a nice surprise.
"Where were you for the past hour?" Kimmi asked not looking up from the table. She had prepared a nice dinner and she hadn't started eating yet.
"Driving, sorry I'm late," I said dropping my coat and sitting next to her.
"Oh I guess that's okay..." she said trailing off, "at least we can eat now!" she said more enthusiastically. I don't think I could have ever seen her so happy before. It was such a nice change.
"Thank you for making dinner love," I said kissing her on the head before sitting down and joining her for a meal.
The entire meal was my mind whirling about thoughts about what to do with Zoe and Kimmi and I was just so confused.
