"What are you talking about? Criminal Minds is way better then Grey's Anatomy," Landon declared as he threw is arms in exasperation. This was a continuous argument in our house.

"Hmmm... Hot doctors that save lives or psycho killers? I think the answer is self-explanatory," I responded, while I looked at him like he had grown an extra head.

"Whatever, we both know I'm right," he said smirking

I rolled my eyes as I stood from the couch, "I'm going out, do you need anything?"

"No I'm good, but I'll come with you," He replied switching off the TV.

"I'm a big girl, Lan I can go on my own."

"Are you sure? Cause really, I don't mind."

"Positive, I'm actually looking forward to driving by myself."

He stared at me, no doubt figuring out if he should let me go on my own; Landon hasn't let me out of his sight after the incident at ACE. I gingerly reached past him, grabbing the keys off the oak coffee table, as I kissed his cheek and turned towards the door.

"I'll be back soon, love ya."

I shut the door before he said anything and walked towards the elevator. Our apartment was located on the outskirts of Toronto. On the exterior, it wasn't the most appealing building. With the aged brick walls and gloomy garden, it was an image straight out of a Stephen King book. The interior was no better, the tattered beige carpet and steel grey walls caused our apartment to look lifeless. Even with all its flaws, we somehow made it our own. I always felt responsible for holding Landon back, because he could afford to live anywhere in the world, due to the fact that he comes from a very wealthy family; I, on the other hand, barely made enough money to feed myself. I hated realizing that I continuously kept Landon from reaching his fullest potentials. He chose to live with me, in our shitty torn down apartment, instead of building a career and a life for himself. I sighed, as I exited the elevator and walked towards Landons grey BMW m5, which his parents had previously given him for his 19th birthday. As I sat on the black leather seats, I felt like someone was watching me, causing the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up.

I cautiously opened the door and yelled, "Is anyone there?"

My ears were met with silence. I was skeptical while I gently shut the door. Stop being paranoid. Shaking my head, I put the key in the ignition. I relaxed into the seat as music began to flood my ears.

"...and I hate this club, man I drink too much..."

I smirked at the irony of the lyrics, as I noticed a black SUV follow me out of the parking garage. It's not following you. As I turned up the music, I continued driving towards the store; the thought of the mysterious SUV, currently behind me, fresh in my mind.

"Excuse me," I timidly asked the pharmacist who stood behind the counter, "can I pick up a prescription for, Spencer Blake."

"Oh dear, I didn't even see you there, yes absolutely just give me a moment," the grey haired lady replied as she disappeared into the back.

As I awaited the pharmacist, I couldn't help but notice an attractive looking man in a suit that was watching me from around the corner.

My curiosity was interrupted by the aged woman's voice, "here you go young lady. Have you taken fluoxetine before?"

"Yes, I have," I said while handing her twenty dollars cash, "thank you."

As I made my way back to the car, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. I soon noticed the same man that was watching me in the pharmacy was standing outside of the black SUV a few feet away from me. Questions began to swirl around inside my head. Who was he? Why was he here? I stepped out of the car and slowly walked towards the stranger; my sudden bout of confidence gave me the ability to approach the well-dressed man.

"I know what I heard! That's what the lady said.... Shouldn't you be the one to know what that means, you are the doctor here...."

I stood silently behind the man while I overheard the conversation he was having with someone over the phone. Who was he talking to? Was he talking about me? With a closer look, he was an attractive man who spoke in an assertive tone. Whoever he was talking to did not phase his confidence.

I took a deep breath before loudly saying, "Why are you following me?"

Stunned, the strange man quietly said "I'll call you later, Zachary," before he turned to me. "Sorry miss, I don't know what you're talking about."

"I saw you! You followed me out of the parking garage to the pharmacy."

He laughed nervously. "Like I said mam, I don't know what you're talking about," before the man slipped into his car and swiftly sped away.

•••

I sat speechless on my bed. What the hell just happened? Before I could organize my thoughts, there was a soft knock on the door.

"Spence? Why are you hiding up here? Trying to avoid me," Landon said in his usual cocky tone.

I rolled my eyes, "I'm not avoiding you, drama queen. I just wanted some...time alone."

"Oh," he said, face full of concern, as he stepped closer to me, "is everything alright?"

"Yes."

"Come on Spencer, I know you better than that. You can tell me anything..."

I knew I could tell him anything. Landon is the only person that knows everything about me. I don't know why it seemed hard to talk about what happened today; it wasn't bad. However, the mere thought of the man watching me sent chills down my spine.

I sighed as I began to explain, "When I pulled out of the parking garage, I noticed a black SUV following me an-"

"Spencer, no one was following you. You need to stop being paranoid."

"Would you just listen! Like I was saying, the SUV followed me all the way to the pharmacy. Then when I was getting my medication, I noticed a man watching me! Long story short, he was the man from the SUV. I confronted him by say-"

"You did what," Landon yelled, "why would you confront a strange man driving an SUV?"

"Stop interrupting me!"

"Spencer, that's dangerous," he rubbed his eyes forcefully, "did you hear him say anything? Do you know who the guy is? License plate? Anything?"

"He was on the phone with someone named, Zachary, that's all I know."

Landons eyebrows scrunched together, this was what he always did when he was thinking. What could he be thinking about; there must be thousands of Zachary's in Toronto.

"What a little fucker," He finally mumbled under his breath.

"Pardon?"

"Oh, um nothing. I'll be back later."

With that he kissed my forehead and stormed out the door.
