Chapter 3
Winter's POV
"... And so he was like, 'just talk to me', and I said 'in your dreams,' and then he muttered, 'see you tonight'.! Can you believe the nerve of him." Chris had been going on and on about this guy she met at a club. I had lost interest a long time ago and was currently taking a nap.
"I don't think Winter cares about your love life, look at her." Ro flicked Chris in the forehead and went back to her book.
"You ok? You look half asleep." Chris asked worryingly as I slouched down almost snoring.
"Or half dead." Ro suggested, way to keep spirits up!
"Your such a downer you know I would bet twenty dollars that your mate will be goth!" Chris loved imagining what our mates are like, she watches to much romance!
"Ya, I hope for his sake yours is deaf!" I say going back through the dream that had been bugging me all morning.
~dream~
I was in a graveyard. There was a group of men and woman all in capes and cloaks to cover their faces from each other. Who I assumed was the leader pulled up someone from the ghostly crowd.
'This is him, the one who will get us into the Silver Bay Pack (aka. MY PACK!!!) and take them down one by one.' His voice was raspy but still powerful and if I had a body right now it would be shaking in fear and anger. They were coming after my pack, and we had a traitor!
Then the scene changed.
'I know, sir, I have got it all set up. They don't suspect a thing.' It sounded as if the person had said it using a voice masker so no one would recognise them. Weird. Although I couldn't see who was talking, because it was pitch black. I got the feeling I knew him.
Then it stopped.
~end of dream~
"Hey you ok? I swear I don't know what it is about you lately, but you always seem so distant." Chris said smushing my cheeks in attempt to read my mind. "Did something happen? Did I do something?" I shook my head and looked up as my little brother, Loyde, came in.
"Tell me if any boys try to hit on you at school, then I can go and find them and slaughter them and use their ribs as toothpicks." He said, he was always protective of me, it was super cute. And majorly annoying.
"You watch to many cartoons and play to many video games." I say messing up his hair. He glared at me. "But I will tell you." I kiss his forehead and hear a car honking. Uhh, we got to go to school!
~
After a very disturbing car ride with everybody in the pack that goes to school I run a hand through my hair and look up at our school. It was regular everyone in the area went there even the mortal humans. We had to be careful what we do here.
People parted like the red sea as we came by, we were popular and into the sports, but not mean. Or at least I wasn't mean to anyone I try to be nice sometimes. I walked over to the huge willow tree on the school grounds, this is where I met Zach when his pack first came to our territory. We had decided to meet here every day before school, he had made sure that we had all the same classes together and lockers next to eachothers the whole romance deal that Chris mourned for.
I felt fingers forcing my eyelids up and waking me up. Had I been sleeping?
"Rise and shine sweetheart, wouldn't want some serial killer attacking the sweet innocent little girl dozing off under a tree at school would we?" I heard Zach say from somewhere in front of me. But closed my eyes again.
Then someone grabbed my shoulders and shook me awake, hard if I might add
I snap awake and hit my sleep intruder you know where to get him off.
Then I realize it was him, Brice Haller, the stupid scumbag that always got on my nerves. As far as I could tell he was a human I had weak smelling because I haven't shifted yet but he acted, talked, and smelt like a human. A idiotic human, sure, but humans weren't all that bright, especially this one.
Brice was Zach's best friend so I had to cut him some slack. Although it was hilarious to see him rolling on the floor crying and cursing because I kicked him.
"Ha, take that physco!" I stuck my tongue out at him and looked at Zach smiling sheepishly. He shook his head at me.
After he helped Brice up he told him to go to the nurse and not to tell her it was me. Ya right, he will probably tell the whole school, not that they didn't already know that we loathe each other to no end.
"So why were you sleeping?" Zach asked me. I could feel my face start to turn red.
"I didn't get much sleep." I told him, although I didn't mention the dream. I wouldn't worry him about my pack because he would probably go into Alpha mode. He got those often because he was the son of an Alpha. If it weren't for his older brother, Ryan, he would have been Alpha.
He put his arm around my shoulders and we started walking towards the school. The bell had already rung not that we cared. The teachers all knew we were werewolves and didn't mess with us when we were late. As long as we kept up our grades.
We came to our first class, History, not my favorite but not my worst. We went in, Mr. Birchmaster stopped his lecture to look at us and motion to our seats towards the back. He started up again, something about a Queen Victoria? I sat through it half listening to what he had to say half sleeping.
Me and Zach made it to lunch without ditching and sat at our usual table. I noticed, to my disappointment, that Brice had come back from the nurses office and we glared daggers at each other.
"So, how was your first half of hell?" Ro asked eating what looked like a ketchup and ham sandwich, could be anything. I swear that girl eats like a goat, anything.
"You know, almost getting expelled taking the teachers chair and breaking it in half, getting on peoples nerve, the usual." Zach shrugged and continued eating his pizza.
"Meanwhile I was in the nurses office taking fifty pain killers an hour and putting-" Brice started complaining, I cut him off.
"Stop yapping , nobody asked you!" I yelled throwing my apple core at him.
"Ya, Ro over there did! You know your best friend!" He yelled at me throwing it back. I caught it before it hit my face, ninja reflexes baby!
"Guys settle down before you get in trouble!" Chris hissed grabbing my hand and slamming on the bench forcing me to sit down.
It was to late Mrs. Weasel made her way over to our table.
"Mrs. Fay, Mr. Haller, you are both going to come with me and you are not going to stop!" She commanded us. I know, your a butt kicking, ninja beating, daughter of the alpha werewolf you don't have to listen to her! To bad she was also a werewolf and friend of my mom. So I had to.
We followed her down the hall to a VERY familiar room at the front of the school called the office, original I know! She then made us sit down in front of a door labeled:
PRINCIPLES OFFICE
