Chapter 7

Winter's POV

"Honey. Can I come in, we can talk about this." My mom stood outside the door.

"I don't want to talk!" I screamed at her. I knew the whole pack was listening to us, but I really didn't care.

"Come on Winter, just let us in." Cris pleaded I could hear her almost crying.

"You can listen to my music." Ro offered.

I sighed and cracked open the door. I didn't want them to come in but they pushed it open and crud anyway.

I groaned and shut the door.

"What happened? Was it Zach?" My mom asked worried.

I tried to change the subject. "I shifted for the first time."

"Really?" My mom smiled. "I remember my first shift. What did your wolf look like?"

"It was white!" I said remembering

"Can we see it?" Cris shrieked and did what looked like the potty dance.

"Ya sure." I shrugged and focused on shifting. Pretty soon I was a white wolf with gold eyes.

"Wow! You can tell you are an alpha wolf!" My mom said crying in happiness.

'Thanks mom!' I mind linked her. 'I hope I look frightening.'

She smiled and sniffed. "I'll go get your father."

I sat down and listened to Cris and Ro's compliments.

Marisa's POV

My heart swelled when I saw Winter's white wolf. I felt like crying with happiness. I had given birth to such a beautiful creature. An alpha!

"I'll go get your father." I said and ran down the stairs in search for my husband. I heard yelling. I knew it was Leroy and Zach again.

"You know, I hope she was cheating on a jerk like you!" Leroy yelled at Zach.

"She will have to learn not to. She is MY mate. If she so much as looks or talks to another living boy, man, or any male being I will have to teach her a lesson." I was shocked that Zach would even think that. Hurting Winter would be like suicide when Leroy found out. Even Loyde would help look for him. And I would sure track him down if he even mentions hurting my baby again!

"You touch her in any way and I will make sure that she will never talk to your living body again. I will hunt you to the end of the universe if that is what I need to do to make you suffer." I finished my run down the stairs as the Alpha finished speaking.

Both of their eyes were black and I understood that this was not only a fight over Winter, this was also a fight over dominance.

"Guys." I tried to get them to stop fighting, although I was routing for Leroy.

"What?!" They both screamed at me.

"Winter wants to show you her wolf." I screamed at them and stomped up the stairs again.

They followed reluctantly and without fighting on the way up.

We got to Winters room and I knocked on her door. Cris opened it. She smiled at Winter's dad but frowned at Zach who pretended to look hurt.

Winter was back in her human form and when she came out of the bathroom she looked both glad and mad that Leroy and Zach were there.

"Your mom said you shifted?" Her dad said going over and hugging her.

"Ya I did do you want to see?" She backed up and shifted.

Leroy grinned and Zach raised an eyebrow. Something was up with him. I pulled him outside.

"Zach. You don't seem to excited that your girlfriend is a beautiful wolf. Why?" I closed the door and pulled him down into the kitchen.

"Well, as future Alpha-" He started, but I cut him off with a growl.

"You are not the future Alpha." I clenched my hand and tried to contain the punches I wanted to throw at him.

"Yes I am. I am Winter's mate, that makes me Alpha." His jaw tightened. "Is that all Mrs. Fay?"

"No." I punched him straight in the nose. "It may just be mothers instincts, but I know that you are not my daughters mate."

Sorry it took me so long to update. I am in the middle of moving! It is awful, but I will still try and update on my regular days.
