Giving New Upgrades

I went back to my room, seeing (Y/n) playing around with my spinning chair, drunk giggling, "I wanna be a cowboy!" ((Like from that vine XD))

I chuckled a little as I put my food down on the desk, "All right, come on." I then helped her up and put her to her tube. She stopped inside as she closed her eyes and started to charge. I then lied on my bed, sighing deeply, taking out the small jar from my pocket and looked at it, "This doesn't make any sense." I then slowly closed my eyes and sighed softly. But I opened my eyes when I heard that name.

"Sonic."

"What?" I asked, looking at (Y/n) who was now charged. She was looking at Sonic's clean side of the room. "Sonic." She said once more. I frowned as my ears dropped, "Sonic's gone." I said as I went and close up his side of the room. "When will he return?" She asked. I sighed and felt my eyes watering, "He's dead, (Y/n)." "Sonic was in excellent health. With a proper diet and exercise, he should have lived a long life." She replied, blinking at me.

"Yeah, he should have. But there was a fire and..." I said, walking over to my desk and biting my lip, "Now, he's gone." I said, feeling my voice a little shaky. But she gave a small smile and said, "Sonic is here." "No. Mobians keep saying he's not really gone. As long as we remember him. It still hurts." I said, slouching on my spinning chair. "I see no evidence of physical injury." She said, tilting her head. I sighed and smiled a little, "It's a different kind of hurt." She then walked out of her tube, "You are my patient. I would like to help."

"You can't fix this one, buddy." But, then I heard something, I turned around and saw (Y/n) putting her finger in my laptop where I put my memory chip. "Um, what are you doing?" I asked. She looked at me and replied, "I am downloading a database on personal loss. Database downloaded. These treatments include to contact with friends and loved ones. I am contacting them now." She said, showing a hologram of Blaze, Silver, Amy and Knuckles, being contacted. "No, no, no! P-please... Don't do that." I said, shaking my hands up at her.

"Your friends have been contacted."

"Unbelievable."

Then, I felt something pushing pressure on my back. I turned around, seeing (Y/n) leaning on me, wrapping her arms around me. "Now, what are you doing?" I asked, feeling my cheeks warm. "Other treatments include compassion and physical reassurance." She replied, smiling as I chuckled, "I'm okay. Really. Thanks."

"You will be all right. There, there." She said, patting my head. I chuckled and hugged back, "Thanks, (Y/n)." She then pulled away and gave me a worried smile, "I am sorry about the fire." I sighed a little and looked down, "It's okay. It was an accident. Unless... Unless it wasn't." I said, looking at the Mini-Wisp, "At the showcase, t-that guy in the mask would've stolen my Mini-Wisps. A-and then set the fire to cover his tracks. He's responsible for Sonic." I growled as I slammed my fist on my desk, "We gotta catch that guy." I said, in a stern tone. I looked back at (Y/n), as she blinked and tilted her head.

We both quietly headed downstairs, but I saw Vanilla, drinking tea and watching The Titanic with Chocola. She had tissues around her, but I'm believing that Cream was asleep. (Y/n) tilted her head and tried walking up to Vanilla, but I pulled her arm and took her to the garage.

"If we're gonna catch that guy, you need some upgrades." I said, pulling out a scanner as she put her arms up. After scanning her, she asked, "Will apprehending the man in the mask improve your emotional state?" I nodded, "Absolutely. But first, let's work on your moves. And after, your personality."

I started to look up good defence attacks, but I luckily found some cool karate moves. I left it to download and looked at her, "Come on, let's go and get started on your suit." I said, pushing the spinning chair to another computer to find good ideas for her suit designs.

Later, I found some good armor to help her fight. Then, I went back to the other computer that finished downloading the karate moves. Then, I downloaded another chip for her personality, it was 10% girly, 10% tomboy, 30% intelligence, 40% kindhearted and 60% brave. Then put on her armor, it looked like a bathing suit but with shorts. It was blue with grey on it. She also wore a grey helmet. And on her waist was a black belt with black fingerless gloves.

She blinked at me and looked down, "I have some concerns. This armor may undermine my non-threatening, huggable design." I chuckled, "That's kind of the idea, buddy. You look sick." She then blinked once more and gave a smile, "I cannot be sick. I am a robot." I sighed a little, "It's just an expression." I said.

Then I walked over to the desk to get the two chips: one was red for the karate moves, and another one was (f/c) for her personality. She turned around as I tapped between her shoulders and her chip holder opened. I paused for a moment, seeing Sonic's blue chip there. But I took a deep breath and put in the other two chips. She then blinked twice and cleared her throat, "I don't get how karate makes me a better healthcare companion." She asked, using the new personality chip.

I smiled and stood in front of her, "You want to keep me healthy, don't you? Punch this." I smirked, holding up a piece of wood. She then got in position and punched it, causing it to break in two.

"Alright! I'm really liking these moves!" She said, smiling.

-Time Skip-
After trying out the karate moves, we finished off with a fist bump. "Yeah! Fist bump!" She looked at my fist and blinked, "Sorry, but 'Fist bump' isn't in my fighting moves." She said, scratching her head. I chuckled a little and said, "No, this isn't a fighting thing. It's what others do sometimes when they're excited or pumped up." I explained as I held up her hand and started slowly a fist bump.

First, I high-5 her hand, next we do the same but with the back of out hands, then I slowly punched her fist, and last we imitate an explosion. But she smiled and said, "Ba-da-la-la-la-la." I laughed a little, "Good, now you're getting it." She smiled and cupped her hands together, "I'll try and add 'fist bump' to my care-giving matrix."

"All right. Now, let's go get that guy." I said as I opened the garage door. "Come on!" I whispered, walking with her. She nodded and followed me. But I had the feeling that we were being followed.

Later, we arrived at the abandon building. (Y/n) then kicked the door down and got in position. "Get him, (Y/n)!" I shouted, but there wasn't anything. I sighed and took out the Mini-Wisp, "We're too late." (Y/n) looked down closer and asked, "Should we follow that thing?" I looked at the direction where the Mini-Wisp is trying to go. I gave her and nod and replied, "Come on. Follow me."

But I was too focused on the small robot, that I wasn't looking where I was going. Then, something caught me from the back of my hoodie. I looked up and saw myself, almost falling into the ocean. I looked behind and saw (Y/n), "Please, everyone knows that you always wait one hour after eating before going and take a dive." She said, putting back on the dock.

But I then looked back at the Mini-Wisp, it was going insane. Then, it escaped from the jar, "Whoa!" I said, almost falling backwards. But then, I saw a shadow creeping slowly. I quickly took (Y/n)'s hand and hid behind a large metal crate. I peeked back at the shadow and saw that it was the guy from earlier. I felt my color dropped as he held up a piece of machine. I then looked at the ground as (Y/n) blinked, "I think your heartbeat rises quickly." She said.

"Shh! Okay, (Y/n), time to use those upgrades."

That's when, we both saw a bright light, it was a car. But I didn't really know who was in it. I felt like I was in a lot of trouble.
