Chapter 5 • Surprises

Ariana's POV

I felt so so bad for Nash right now

We were all still at the movies, but Abby left, to go with her friends apparently

The movie was almost over, i looked over my shoulder and saw Nash looking at me with sad eyes

I patted the seat next to me for him to come sit

He slowly and quietly walked over to the chair and pulled it down to sit

"Are you okay Nash? I'm so sorry" i said giving him a little hug

I looked up at him and he smiled

"I'm fine. It's happened before"

What?

I just nodded my head and sat up straight, facing the big screen that played the movie

"Hey, is Nash okay?" Hayes whispered beside me

I turned my attention towards the concerned boy

"Yeah, he's fine. He said its happened before" I said with confusion

"Oh"

The credits rolled by and me, Hayes and Nash walked out of the room, throwing our trash after

I was so tired and I'm not in the mood to process on what just happened in that room for an hour and a half

As we were walking out of the building, i saw Abigail and her friends with some guys

If i was Nash right now, I'd cry my eyes out. Either way, I'd still cry my eyes out

I was in the middle of Hayes and Nash as we walked by and Nash just kept his head down

"Nash! Wait! Nash!" Abigail called out

That's it.

"Okay. There's no reason for you to just come back to him and think everything is going to be alright! You freaking left him! You were probably going to use him for god sakes! He was nice enough to ask a really pretty girl like you out. But when there's a pretty girl, they are always the cold hearted ones. And that's wrong and you know it! It's bad enough he's already getting hate from people who still follow him and love him. That's hard. Hard to love someone but give them hate, and hurting them when you know you'll regret it later on. Just. Go. Leave him alone. And find someone else who is exactly LIKE YOU" i said stepping closer as i finished my sentence

I can't believe i just did that

I never knew i could...could actually do that

I was always so afraid to stand up for myself or anyone. Probably because I'm tired of it. Tired of letting the people i love get hurt.

Abigail stood there in shock, even everyone else who was around us

I was shocked myself. But proud

I walked away from the shocked, surprised people

Nash and Hayes catching up behind me

"Thanks Ariana" Nash said, turning me around to hug me

"No problem. I hate to see the people i love get used like that" I admitted
