Chapter 3: The birthday Party

[2weeks later]

~Shane's P.O.V.

Me and Lisa have been on the down low the passed two weeks rarely getting out of the house, but I recently promised Sage, my cousin, that we would spend some time together, so were going to her friend Baileys birthday party, which originally I didn't want to go to, but since O2l is going

I decided why not.

When lisa came home from the store I told her about the birthday party she agreed to go

I'm pretty sure it was because of Connor but hey at least she's going.

~baileys P.O.V.

Me and Trevor were finishing up everything for the party now just waiting the guest

To show. I Was most excited about Connor, Sam, Ricky, Jc, Kian, Kailey and Shawn, Sage, and Shane and lisa. After about 1 hour people started showing up.

~Shane's P.O.V.

We finally showed up Trevor's girlfriend Baileys house.

Sage: what are you guys even going to do?

Shane: is there food?

Sage: Um yeah

Shane: then that's what I'll be doing.

Sage and lisa rolled their eyes and laughed knowing that I was being serious.

Sage: well have fun with that, I'm going to go find bailey.

~Lisa's P.O.V.

The party actually wasn't that bad I had been talking to Connor about maybe doing

a collab in the future. Afterwards I went back over to the food table to find Shane

Sitting alone there seemed to be something on his mind.

Lisa: hey babe

Shane: huh?... Oh hey

Lisa: you okay?

Shane: *giving a half smile* yeah I'm fine

I said okay while giving him a peck on the lips while putting my head on his shoulder.

All great until we saw a large grey truck pull in

Sage, bailey and Trevor ran up yelling Kailey and Shawn are here!

Shane and I completely froze when we saw Brian get out of the drivers seat.

Shane turned to Sage asking why he was there

~Shane's P.O.V.

Shane:why the hell is Brian here!?

Sage: oh that's kailey's brother... Do you know him or something?

Shane: unfortunately yes.. That's Lisa's ex.

Sage: oh shit sorry I didn't know. Are you going to be okay?

Shane: I don't think so

Brian immediately made eye contact with Shane and started running full sprint towards him tackling him

Pulling him to the ground.

Here we go again I thought as I punched him in the face, his blood staining my white shirt.

Everybody just starred at us in shock, lisa was crying I felt really bad and wanted to comfort her

But Brian was getting in the way of that.

All of sudden Brian stood up and pulled out a gun from his hoodie and pointed in directly at me. Lisa was now screaming.

I put my hands in the air surrendering to the gun but he paid no attention.

Shawn: GUYS STOP! BRIAN YOUR TAKING THIS WAY TO FAR!

Brian: Shut the hell up Shawn I'm doing this for love.

Lisa: BRIAN Please don't shoot please! I'm sorry but I don't love you, I've moved on you need to too!

Brain: I don't think you understand.. Shane's dying.

Bailey and Trevor were just standing there with a stupidly confused look on there face, bailey crying about her ruined party and Trevor hugging her while trying to comfort her.

Surprisingly Kailey hit her brother on the back of his head causing him to fall but before he did he shot the gun.

Not shooting Shane but Kaileys boyfriend Shawn

At that point everyone was freaking out, lisa had called the cops who were soon there carrying Shawn into the ambulance and Kailey with him crying.

Shane and lisa were holding each other tight when Brian was being taken to jail.

Shane lisa and Sage decided it was probably the best time to leave.

Sage hugging Bailey telling her Happy birthday and sorry for what happened.

They dropped Sage off at her house saying sorry and drove back to there apartment. Lisa immediately went to their room closing the door not wanting to talk to you anyone.

~Shane's P.O.V.

I could hear lisa crying in our room I wanted to go In there but I knew she wanted to be alone so I didn't bother her.

It wasn't until an hour later before lisa came out into the living room sitting on the couch next to me

Me: Are you okay?

Lisa: No, no I'm not okay Shane, you almost fucking died because of him!

Me: but I didn't lisa, were not going to let him get in the way of us.. I promise

I hugged lisa tight holding back the tears that were bound to come out at anytime

Shane: I love you

Lisa: Me too honey, me too
