Chapter 5: Just visiting

Shane's P.O.V.

I slowly knocked on our bedroom door wanting to check on Lisa, "Lisa?....Babe? Are you alright...?" I walked In to see her laying on the bed starring into space, she looked over at me suddenly her expression changed to sadness and horror. "I'm just so scared Shane, not only that I'm confused why does he want me back so badly?" " Well you are beautiful" I said trying to lighten the mood. She gave a half smile but that quickly changed back into fear.

"What if he hurts you Shane, what if he kills you? I don't know what I would do without you,

your pretty much all I have, all I ever wanted!" Lisa was now crying.. "Please don't cry, I'm not going anywhere I'm staying right here by your side, we will get through this, I promise." I said hugging her not wanting to let her go, but then I remembered... I'm leaving to go to the hospital.

"Hey I'm going to go out for awhile, maybe go with Sage to the hospital to visit Shawn and work out things with Kailey," " I though you were staying here with me?" " I know I'll be back in two hours I promise I said kissing her cheek. Lisa looked at me with a hopeless look and silently nodded her head.

Sages P.O.V.

Things have been different lately, I never see or talk to Kailey anymore because honestly she's

scaring me, I over heard her talking the other day about Shane and the only thing I heard after Shane was kill, which made my whole body go cold sending shivers up and down my spine. She can't kill Shane, I mean he's all I have since my mom died and I rarely see my dad but when I do he just yells at me saying I'm pathetic and worthless, although the hitting doesn't make it any better.

Hey Sage I know this is last minute but I'd really appreciate it if you came to the hospital with me

Whyyyyyy?!?! Why did I agree to come I can't go I mean I'm pretty sure Kailey hates me and I'm positive she hates Shane.... This can't go well.

Shane's P.O.V.

15 minutes later I picked up Sage and we were heading towards the hospital.

"Hey so um why are we doing this?" " because I need to talk to Kailey and get on her good side"

"We'll I think some others are visiting too actually Bailey and Trevor are, so that will give you the perfect chance to apologize," I smiled and nodded because I was really just trying to figure out what the hell I was going to say to her.

I sighed were here...you ready?" "not really but let's go" she said trying not to freak out. I could see the tears forming in her eyes so I told her she could stay in the car, she gave me a huge smile saying thank-you.

When I found room 321, I was hesitant wondering if I should just start running to the car and pretend like we never came here. Although before I was ready I opened the door to four depressed looking people ,one of them was Brian.

My heart dropped, but strangely it wasn't like the other times I've unexpectedly ran into him, because this time he didn't come at me with his large fist.

"What are you doing here, you aren't welcome here" Kailey said starring at me with her blood shot eyes. " I came here to talk to you, look I'm sorry for what happened to Shawn I really am, but I didn't shoot him!" " I don't care! You should be the one In the coma not him..."

It was silent I saw Bailey and Trevor holding hands With a shocked but frightened look on there faces. "I'm sorry you feel that way, but if your going to blame anyone it should be your brother... And Bailey I'm so sorry for your ruined party I didn't mean for this to happen to you either." " it's okay, that was probably one of the most exciting things to ever happen" "yeah well I didn't need the excitement but is there any way I could make it up to you?"

"You could get me a red velvet cupcake" Trevor rolled his eyes but let out a small laugh knowing how serious she was. "SHUTUP! This isn't about your fucking cupcake or you stupid party this is about payback... Shane I'm sorry to let you know but Brian and I want you dead and we always get what we want"

Before I could say anything Kailey took out a knife from under her chair and stabbed Me right in the stomach taking me outside to the empty parking lot to bleed to death. I tried Calling for Sage but I couldn't.

Sages P.O.V.

It's literally been an hour since Shane left I was getting worried, so I decided to go and look for him. When I went inside I asked the lady at the counter what room Shawn was in and that I was looking for my cousin. My body went cold...again when she had told me that she already saw him leave with a young girl towards the back doors. I quickly told her thanks while sprinting towards the back door I instantly screamed when I saw Shane lying there half dead.

Lisa's P.O.V.

It's been four hours since he left, he promised he would be back In two hours... Before I could finish an awful thought my phone rang

Yes, this is the emergency center, Shane was found in the old abandoned parking lot, his pretty badly injured.

I dropped the phone and quickly drove to the hospital. "Oh my gosh his dead! dying....He promised he would stay with me, he promised he wasn't going to die."
