Chapter 6: Don't leave me

Lisa's P.O.V.

I probably shouldn't be driving, my hands are shaky, I'm crying, and I'm not thinking straight,but that didn't matter all that matters to me right now is getting to the Hospital.

When I finally arrived I hurried to the front desk at the emergency center asking the worker lady where Shane was, she gave me the finger, she wasn't flipping me off though just telling me to wait, which in this case was worse. I impatiently waited for her to get off the phone, finally she had told me "Room 223"

I nervously walked down the long, dark, depressing hallway, refusing to look at any of the sad lonely people crying over their loved ones.

"223" I whispered to myself. I opened the door to find Sage sobbing on the floor covering her porcelain face and Shane lying there lifeless I shed a tear looking back towards Sage. "Sage,what happened" I asked scared to hear the answer, "he.. he was stabbed in the stomach" she was crying even harder. "Who!" I said getting angry, not at her but at myself for not being there and not knowing what the hell was going on. "I..I don't know! All I know is that he was visiting Kailey" "She didn't... Did she?" Sage's face went ghostly as if she figured something out, "oh my gosh Lisa I think it was... I over heard her saying something about killing Shane, I think she was talking to Brian." "I'm going to go find this fucking girl!" NO! She'll hurt you too, she's probably still with Shawn I'll go...you stay here with Shane."

Sage's P.O.V.

I hate my self, why couldn't I have just man'd up an went with him, maybe all this is my fault...

I was running to room 321. When I was running I past the janitors room but I heard something, it kinda sounded like how in the movies when someone's tied up with duck tape on their mouths. Oddly enough I was right because when I opened the door I found Bailey and Trevor tied up, they seemed happy to see me. I quickly untied them and gently ripped the tape uncovering there now red mouths. "What the heck happened to you guys!?" I asked checking to see if anyone could see us, "Sage! Your here!" "Yeah I know your hero, now answer me...What happened!" "After Kailey stabbed Shane Brian took me and Trevor, he told us we couldn't be trusted" So it was Kailey... Maybe It was a good idea to stay in the car or I'd be in the closet with them, I thought to myself.

"Okay well Brian and Kailey can't know I found you, so I need you guys to go to Shane's room, room 223 and if I'm not back by the next 30 minutes come find me." They didn't say anything just silently nodded their heads.

Room 321... I'm not going to lie I'm pretty terrified, but I knew I had to do it... For Shane.

I walked in to find Kailey asleep next to Shawn holding his hand. Now where's Bri... Before I could even finish my thought Brian grabbed me from behind holding his hand over my mouth and throwing me into a room I couldn't tell where I was because my eyes and mouth were covered.

Lisa's P.O.V.

Where is She, she should be back by now I said out loud. Bailey looked over at me and then the clock.. "It's been 35 minutes, she said if she was still gone for us to go find her."

I'll go, stay here I said getting up walking towards the door looking back at Shane making sure he wasn't going to get up out of his deep sleep and come with me. "Be careful" bailey said crying Into Trevor's shoulder.

I slowly opened the door to room 321 to find a lifeless body that reminded me of Shane, and a man with brown hair and crazed looked eyes who went by the name of Brian.

"Where's Sage?" I asked angrily. "Oh don't worry about her, she's resting, come here honey you look tired" I knew I wasn't going to win this fight so I had to out smart him. "I am tired babe I just want to go home, with you. "You finally came around, finally remembering your feelings. "Yes I've always known I just didn't want to hurt poor ol Shane" "I understand, I knew you didn't like him, that's why he was going to die" he said rubbing me all over which made me very uncomfortable but I knew I had to play along. "Yeah I got you but I do want Sage to go back to Shane's room so we can leave." He pointed to the closet, so I walked in to find sage tied up I carefully untied her telling her to play along, and to tell the front desk to send the security for harassment. She nodded and ran out the door to do what I asked. I gave a fake smile to Brian and kissed him on the cheek making things more believable. "Shall we go?" I said grabbing his hand.

We were almost to the main floor when I heard a couple of security guards running towards us taking Brian away from me, I tried to act confused for Brian but he caught on.

Sage and I walked back to Shane's room, I went over by Shane and held is hand whispering into his ear telling him to wake up, and when he did we were going away for awhile, somewhere where no one could bother us. I kissed his forehead and moved the strains of hair away from his face,when I did I felt him squeeze my hand and a small tear run down his face.

He's going to make it I thought to myself falling asleep on his chest.

LISA! WAKE UP! "Huh? What!" I said wondering who called my name. It was Teresa, Shane's mom, "Lisa, the doctors just came in a few minutes ago they told me that he's not in a coma, just a deep sleep, he should be waking up any minute now...

I sighed in relieve, Shane's not leaving me, his going to live. I'm keeping my promise I told him, when he can leave this place were driving down to San Diego for at least four days, just to get away from all this drama.

I heard a soft moan coming from Shane, "Shane?"

"Lisa? Where the heck are we?" I was now full on crying I grabbed him in a hug, he was confused but he didn't resist the hug because he gave me a tight squeeze. He looked at me a smiled, " you're beautiful you know that" he whispered while wiping my tears away.

I laughed and looked at Teresa, she was also crying she walked over to Shane to tell him to stop worrying her, and that she loves him and that she wants him to stop by.

After she left I crawled into bed with Shane holding him close not ever wanting to leave his side.
