You didn't get much Sleep after L had sent you that text. The next morning it showed. " oh my god  (y/n) you look like you didn't sleep at all" Mina had said, observing your dark circles "I know... I suppose I'm just not used to sleeping away from family, after I woke up to go to the bathroom,  I couldn't fall back asleep. "You lied. Your friend looked genuinely concerned before offering up some coffee, to which you nodded. " your brother came in Pretty late..." you remarked nonchalantly,  trying not to sound suspicious. " yeah he's been doing that since dad started working more. We don't talk like we used sadly. " she finished brewing the cup and handed it to you. As you were about to take a sip your phone buzzed  "oh, it's mom..." it was L. "Hey... mom. What's up? " you asked since he was only suppose to text, but the voice that responded was a woman. "(Y/n) dear,  I'm going to need you to come home and unlock the house, we are coming home early and seemed to have forgotten our keys. " it was obviously a computer voice "oh... OK mom. Yeah, see you in a few. " you ended the call " well,  it was a nice sleep over" you turned to Mina "but my family came home early for some reason.  Thank you for your kindness, but I have to go now. I'll see you at school.  Tell your family thank you as well. " she smiled taking a sip of her coffee "of course! I had fun even though you fell asleep" she laughed. You grabbed your bag and walked outside to see L had sent Watari. You quickly got in the car and L was sitting in the back " what happened to three days? " you ask him.  " we analyzed the paper over night. That's death note paper. I didn't want the brother to suspect anything of you, so I pulled you.  The problem is..." his voice trailed " how'd he get this one? "
