James POV

Next Friday the roses and cards for Valentine's day will be delivered.

Should I send one to Agnes?

Yeah, probably.

I approached the table with the cards. One rose cost 3€.

I wrote Agnes' full name and homeroom. That's when I heard someone cough behind me, as if trying to get attention.

I turned around and saw... Marja.

"Oh hey, whatcha doing there?" I said, nervous.

"Oh nothing. Just wanted to see you," she smiled. Oh great. "What is that in your hand?"

Hell.

"Uum... It's a Valentine's day card! It's for you, I'm going to send it!'

"Ooh! Can I see it!"

"NO! I mean, then it won't be fun when you receive it!"

She hesitated.

"Okay then, I trust you." she said. It didn't look like it.

"See ya around!" I said.

"Yeah... see ya." she walked away.

"Phew..." I said under my breath.

I signed as anonymous and put the card and money into the box. I sighed.

Marja POV

I'm suspicious of James.

When I caught him writing, he looked nervous.

Was the card really for me?

Doubt it.

I'll find out the truth...
