James POV

I danced with Marja even though I didn't want to. I searched the room all the time for Agnes, but she was never there. When I finally saw her, she was...

Dancing with Michael.

I felt a strange emotion rise upwards in my chest.

I didn't know this feeling very well, though I'd been feeling it more often lately.

Probably jealousy.

When Agnes left after the slow dance, I watched helplessly how she left.

I had to cut this thing of Marja and I somehow.

When I turned around, I saw Marja leaning in on me with her eyes closed.

Oh god.

I awkwardly turned the kiss she was expecting into a hug and left. I felt her eyes like needles on my neck as I left, heading for the boys' bathrooms.

On my way, I saw Agnes and Anne laughing.

I felt happy and sad at the same time.

Happy, because they were friends again. Anyone would've noticed the tension that had grown between them.

But sad, because of the simple fact of just seeing Agnes.

I entered the bathroom and washed my face.

I was tired.

Tired of lying.

Tired of faking.

Marja POV

No.

Agnes can't get away with this.

Not again.

Does he think I'm stupid?

Because I'm not.

I can see perfectly that he likes Agnes and that Agnes likes him.

I'm sure about that after the slow dance.

They just both don't know it.

But I will do everything that's in my power to keep them apart.

That's my vow.

Tayra POV

Riley is so sweet! Oh, I love him so much!

But I'm worried about Agnes... I'll talk to Ericka about it.

"Ericka, do you think Agnes is all right?" I asked her after a while since she had gone.

"I'll check on her, okay?" she smiled.

I sighed with a smile.

"Thanks, Ericka,"

"No prob,"

And so she took off.

Ericka POV

I found Agnes in a corner with reddened eyes, but she was surprisingly laughing.

Next to Anne.

They were friends again! Great!

I approached them.

"Hey guys, where have you been?" I asked.

"Oh, sorry, we'll go back in a minute," they laughed.

"What's so funny?" I smiled.

"Nothing, nothing. We're coming," Agnes said.

I smiled with suspicion. What were those two weirdoes up to this time?
